I agree with Bob's opinion on HBP, mainly because of the lack of any development in Harry's wizardry and also the way she handled the ships till then (Incidentally - I liked how the movie showed the development of Harry/ginny relationship and I liked that aspect of it. The book should have started a relation between Harry/Ginny past GoF and shown a gradual development, which it did not and was not believable - the movie was much better than the book, which I thought was the weakest of them all).

Regarding this story, I like the power level of Harry and love the Harry/Hermione relationship portrayal. Good work

Ok, thoughts. Well, girl power, I hate girl power stories where Harry is powerful, (after all he is the protagonist) but all the women around him are equally powerful, or even more so. I know this wasn’t the case here, but I see a few of the warning signs. Otherwise it was well done. Oh, and before I get hate mail for being sexist, I’m not, I just hate plots were Harry is constantly whipped by unreasonably powerful female characters. I truly applauded the idea of Harry calling Hermione out on sneaking a peek. Usually it’s a double standard, and wouldn’t be allowed if Harry were peeking at Hermione. Fair is fair, if both sexes are equal, treating them as such. Anyway, that’s my rant, love me or hate me.

I'm very curious about something. Do you really hate Ron and Dumbledore that much? Personally, I mean. And, if you do, would you still hate Dumbledore so much if he was still portrayed by Richard Harris? I ask, because that has colored my view of him. I loved the Richard Harris Dumbledore, but really dislike the Michael Gambon one. Rupert Grint, however . . . Well, I really have very little opinion of his Ron at all.

Ahh, the title mislead me. I thought it would have something to do with whoever in Gryffindor tower shoved that spider on Harry's leg. Oh well! Great stuff, btw.

'The Brotherhood is coming down off the fence and they aren’t coming down on our side' -- Dumbledore doesn't realize that he hasn't said what he thinks he has. He's actually announced that he isn't on the side of the light. Muuwhahaha.
'in with less on' -- either 'in less' or 'with less on'
alright, you had my eyes tearing up over that little girl.

It's only been 13 chapters...is it too early to say I'm in love?

Every chapter just gets better. I love the twists and turns; I love trying to figure out where you're going with the story and what will happen next.

Suffice it to say, I just don't see myself going to bed tonight until I read the rest of your stories.

Then, I'll look into the other authors you've mentioned.

Very fine story. I'm having fun with it. The characters are not as AU as you claim. You just played a little character roulette with them. Ron has become Draco (Seamus and Dean are skinny and small versions of Crabbe and Goyle). Draco has become Neville and Neville is now Ron. Dumbledore is Snape, Snape is Lucius, Remus is Dumbledore, Amelia is Mr. Weasley, etc. I like all-powerful Harry sometimes. I'm waiting for your version to really explode.

You have included in your story several of my pet peeves (but by no means are you even scratching the surface). 1. Blushing everytime someone makes a comment about relationships or hints at physical attraction. I think that eventually kids should be allowed to get beyond that; 2. Rolling ones eyes (why do all Potterdom characters do that all the time); 3. "Deepening the kiss". What does that phrase really mean? I've never seen it anywhere but in HP fanfiction. I think someone on the old Gryffindor Tower FF Site created it and everybody decided it was "cool".

Despite what I sound like above, I really am enjoying the story and the writing is quite good.

Harry truly is showing his snake side.

Dumbledore would make out that the Brotherhood as an elite class of Death Eater.

I hope that everything will work out for Arthur and Harry.

I wonder what the ass of the headmaster is up to.

So Luna is a Child of Gaia… I like the idea behind that.

I understand where Harry is coming from, I wouldn’t know what to feel if I had to kill a man.

Remus is being a snake too.

ever get that feeling that you've been up too late and need sleep? yeah its 2:02 my time...and I've been up for about 28 hours....and its all your fault! lol no not really.

I too hate it when an author does that. 14 stories and none of them passed chapt ten and it takes her forever to update because she keep writing a paragraph for one story, then get an idea for the other and rush over to write for that one (lather, rise, repeat).

So what's Dumbledore up to, hmm? I think Harry's going to kill him (that was done in a singy-song voice.

...so...on with the story unless I fall asleep in the middle of it...0_o

What a cool explanation for Luna being... Luna. Not that there's anything wrong with her just the way she is, but, well, I think you know what I mean. When people do try to give her behavior a specific cause it's not usually this well thought out.

Hermione saw Harry naked in chapter 1, but you repeatedly deny it in this chapter. Just wondering if anyone else pointed it out.

Ah, The Stand. A Stephen King classic; and a freaking long book by the way. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. Great story you guys, I just felt the need to but into a husband/wife argument. Keep up the great work.

I hope Arthur does mend the fences with Harry. I've always liked him. Of course, I've always liked Molly, too, even though she was a bit of a mollycoddler. Have you ever noticed that? Makes me wonder if JKR named her Molly for a reason. Though now she's a bit of a... a... a... greedy monster with red hair? That might be a good way to describe her.

Great end for a Wormtail with NO redeeming values whatsoever.

I like what Ginny is trying to do. I am torn between wanting Molly and Ron to begin to see the error of their ways and making overtures to Harry and having them go down with the ship of England. Only thinking of Ginny makes me want good to happen. Otherwise... AK away.

Marvelous AU masterpiece.
