Wonderful piece as always. I have to wonder, who was the woman Harry married? Was it Luna?

I understand why you left it open ended, but you probably shouldn't have made the comment that his wife was a blonde if you wanted to keep it open ended. If the purpose of that was to say that it wasn't Hermione or Ginny, there were other ways of doing it.

Actually, ver sweet, and a nice way of thinking how the Marauder in Lily was able to get back at Albus for the way he twisted Harry, because imo, Harry is twisted, and wouldn't surprise me, considering how things ended in canon, that somewhere down the line, he might be a little darker than what is considered normal by most of the wizarding world. A nice story here, and great to see more of your writings.

So, who did Harry marry? Is it Susan?

Or you won't tell? Not telling is evil, by the way. So you should tell *nodnod*

Well that was strange and slightly dark. Of course, for a person like Dumbledore, to know that he had failed to serve the greater good would be the worst kind of hell.

I'm not sure that the canon Dumbles really deserves eternal torment, although he does deserve a strong telling off for treating humans like chess pieces.

However, DH makes it quite clear that Dumbledore's greatest fault was a kind of cynicism. He could not believe that anyone else could overcome the test that he himself failed. He kept Harry in the dark because he genuinely did not believe that the boy could resist the temptation to use the three Hallows for selfish purposes unless his personality had been properly moulded by experience. Perhaps the outcome of the story justified that strategy or perhaps Harry would have automatically been able to use his ancestors' greatest creations wisely - they were his by right, after all.

Anyway, a well-written piece although not as absorbing as the best of your work.

You've obviously mistaken us for people that care about canon. I thought our comment in the disclaimer would have made our opinion of the last two books obvious.

You two are very evil...

Very sneaky! Dumbledore gets to grieve for eternity and James, Lily and Sirius get to gloat and watch Harry's life unfold. And is it Gabrielle? Very sneaky not to reveal Harry's wife's name. Going to make us think now! I guess itis time for that. Thanks for writing. pms

I could call you all cans of names but i won`t who did Harry Married. Why do you do this stuff for when it drives everybody crazy please tell us who Harry married. I think it`s Luna because of the Blond hair and. Fred and George stand near Luna so Luna could still be in the bed after she had the baby Or it could be some Slytherin girl Daphne Greengrass didnt she have blond hair. It could also be Tonks will you tell everybody who it was not knowing is killing me please.

*wicked chuckle* Now that's a wicked trick, though I daresay a quite well deserved one. I have to wonder if it'll ever occur to Albus that he's been pranked one final time as punishment for his actions? Anyway, 'tis quite the enjoyable read. One question, though, just who did Harry end up marrying? It rather sounds like Daphne Greengrass, though depending on the shade of blonde, it could be Susan Bones.

Hmm...I liked it. I still haven't finished the seventh book, and have been contemplating just skimming for highlights and then waiting for a year or two to actually try again to read it, but I don't know.

A mistake in the disclaimer/rant:

Alyx scowled, she knew that tone of voice, he was surfing the net again, looking at something he shoulder.

Should this be 'looking at something he shouldn't'?

And:

It all belongs to JKR who lost her ability to write a decent story after book six.

After? How about before? Liked book 5, hated book 6, can't finish book 7.

Thanks for writing. Looking forward to the stuff you two have been alluding to.

It wasn't book six, it was five. 'Half-Assed Plot' was almost as bad as Deadly 'Horrible'.

A cute little diversion. It reminds me of the story 'At the Lord's Door'. Where there, Lily and the gang had their individual shots at lambasting Dumbles, for his incessant meddling in the lives of others. Here, he will have to do it himself. The false memories are a really nasty twist. Alorkin

a very fun little story, I love the 'punishment' dumbles received lol, very appropriate.

and what do we know about harry's unnamed wife?? she is blond, well that cuts it down :) well it keeps us guessing lol.

Terrible thing to do to Dumbles. Well deserved, but terrible. Muwahahaha

So now we have to work through the list of possible blondes to be Harry's wife?

Let's see...
Abbott, Hannah;
Bell, Katie;
Brown, Lavender;
Delacuer, Gabrielle;
Greengrass, Daphne (I always picture her as a blond);
Malfoy, Narcissa (Hey - it could happen)
Weasley, Fleur;
don't recall any others.
