Now that I have finished reading this story I feel like my friends and family have moved away and I don't know when or if I will be seeing them again. To say that I just enjoyed it is like saying that Voldamort was just not a nice guy. Thank you TOM C

Wow. Fantastic, epic story. I am impressed and astounded by the effort you have poured into this fic. I usually end up abandoning fics of this length because as the word count increases my attention span decreases. Sunset and Sunrise proved to be outstanding exceptions. You cast a perfect balance between focusing on the big picture of the war and the characters who fought it. Even the seemingly throwaway scenes added depth and rounded out the overarching themes of the story. I went to class on several occasions sleep deprived from staying up late to read and I regret it not at all. In fact I live and study about 15 minutes away from the Fort Ord refugee camp in California. I will take that as a personal shout out and thank you for the consideration. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and all the twists and turns you took us on through the chapters. Great job and thank you.

NOW I can finally post my review. (now that I'm assured I won't get cited in the Author's Notes!) I am awed, entranced, and sad the ride's over, but oh, what a ride. The realism of what war is like, both muggle and magical gave me nightmares on occasion.
I do wish there was a way to print the entire story in one file, as you can do at SIYE.
A few minor spelling gaffes noted, sorry.
In short, a very believable, wonderfully crafted tale. Thanks.

Baisiccaly this story is great it's funny serious and sweet (and immensly long)you to make a great team and your both clearly great at writting
Also your disclamers and author comments are hilarious often cruel or sick but great
keep up the good work and i'm ready to start reading your others :D

I read the whole story over four days. Its great having nothing to do in the summer. Anyway, this series is one of the best fanfics I have ever read! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your work.The creative disclamers and authors notes are something I've never seen before. So funny!

It took me many hours and many days, but finally i am done reading it!!
I’m slightly tired, i’ve just read the night through. It’s almost seven in the morning. But i had to read it through and couldn’t stop!
This is one of the more amazing stories! I have read another story of yours which was also a harry/hermione story, and i loved that as much as i love this story.
But right now i need sleep!! So i am standing down and giving you two a mighty salute for the amazing story you have made!!

Ah, the end. And, a fine ending it is. You have summed up beautifully, reminding the reader of all that went before.
All told, I suppose I have to say that I enjoyed your first two tales more than these, but that's probably because they stayed closer to Hogwarts. Not to say, though, that these weren't good. Not at all. They're excellent, and, as an author myself, I appreciate the time and effort it took for you to turn out a work of this magnitude.

Hi there,
Somehow I manage to find this site and your story is just marvelous, you did a wonderful job providing a very convincing HHr AU, normally I like the HG ship, but yours is extraordinary.
Took me a couple of weeks to go through the million + words but really enjoyed them. Normally a don't read fiction in English, (I'm Mexican) 'cos usually I've a lot of trouble with slang terms, and just hate looking up for meaning of words, but all I've read in this site is really well written and did not have to look up too often.
I must agree with you, although somehow I enjoyed both HBP and DH, I wasn't too convinced on how dear JKR came out. Frankly after OotP, Headmaster Dumbly is just a hideous nasty humanoid, so your version in this marvelous Sun series is more of my liking. Now I would have liked better if Harry turned both Dumbly and Voldy into paraplegic squibs and then condemn both to share cell in Azkaban for eternity.
Your lighten Draco was excellent and coupling him with Luna just odd (and great). So the Remus Tonks ship, Neville Ginny is not of my liking, but worked as well. Amy is just from another planet she's fantastic, even she is just a side character.
There is much that can be said from this fine work of yours, I enjoyed the Standard Disclaimers and the dreadful AN, and mostly everything, perhaps the HHR relationship was too soft, but then is perfectly explained and understandable.
Finally, not to make this a long rr CONGRATULATIONS

You guys are mad, macbre, malevolent, (probably malodorous), sick, sadistic, sarcastic, sleezy, weird, whacky and bloodthirsty. I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU BOTH!
I'm still in a quandry as to which I loved more...the disclaimers...the story...or the authors goats.
Your writing is superb, your playfulness with words leaves me breathless on occasion, and your plots, sub-plots, red herrings and hints kept me enthralled.
I am disabled. Don't get out much and don't have much of a life. You have given me a delightful week of total escapism. (and some rather bizarre dreams!)

Wow what a story, i've never read one even close to this length before but i was worth the three weeks it took to read this million word epic.
I think one of my favorite moments has to ave been dumbledores death. Death by snorkack is something i have never read of before so i'd like to congratulate you for coming up the the most original death method i've ever read.
Now one of my favorite stories and definitely my favorite with a harry/hermione pairing i can't wait to start reading your other stories and eventually being up-to-date to review your current WIP.

You know how to write,your narrative and dialogues flow,your brilliant ideas about HP universe have already been borrowed by at least a score of fanfic authors.You are firmly in the fandoms top twenty.
What made my reading quite difficult was your unfortunate infatuation with Tom Clancy and your inability to understand that every monotheistic religion has always been enemy of magic.It Harry Potter or Narnia,no in-between.
If there are no real muggleborn wizards then wizardkind is a different humanoid species and a big part of the beauty of HP world is lost.

I want to thank you both for keeping my mind occupied for the last Week or so while I read Sunset and Sunrise. With out these stories I would probably have suffered from panic attacks. Something about having my DH leave for the Middle East for 2 months just really upsets me. However, I was able to hide and involve myself in this set of stories and for the most part they have kept me occupied and panic free.

Thanks also for creating a world I like much better than JKR's version. I'm not a Harry/Hermione shipper, but you made it work.

Hello, I just anted to tell you what a fantastic story I think this and sunset was. I have just finished reading them both one after the other and can honestly say that they are in my top 5 all time favorite fan fictions. I don't normally like much AU but the way you have written this is, well for the lack of a better word, magical. I hate, and i mena HATE, Haryy Hermione stories normally but you have opened my eyes to the possiblity that with a good writer than can way supass other more cannon pairings. That being said I just want to thank you for writing such an amazing story and while you endevored to push your boundrys of the cannon pairings you also managed to move my previusly imposible to move bouderys.

Oh my god! I loved both Sunset and Sunrise. My house is a bombsite because I had to sit at my computer and read until I fell asleep!! Your stories were amazing and brilliantly written. Thank you for taking the time to write them for us. Having said that, while I always looked forward to what was going to happen in the next chapter, more importantly, I was looking forward to the disclaimer just as much. They were fantastic and had me in stitches. I'm so glad my husband sent me the link for this. Just think of what I would've missed otherwise. Looking forward to reading your other stories now!!
