The best part of the day today was getting to read the new chapter. Come home from work, check the email and the only thought I could think was "Woohoo, yes!". Glad to see that Terry and Susan made it through the battle. Was hoping that nothing really bad would happen to them on their honeymoon. That would suck. And not in a good way. Let's see what else could I say? Brilliant as always but the only sucky thing is having to wait for the next chapter. :( Oh well as long as you both are feeling well so that the story does get finished. Oh just thought this. I wonder what kind of info will Hermione get from the library? What interesting bits of knowledge will she get? How will the Terry and Susan respond to the knowledge of Susan's pregnancy? Will Draco be the next in line to become a parent? Will the stupid French guy get his just deserts? Tune in next time to find out more. Same Potter time, same Potter channel.(Sorry was thinking of the old Batman TV show)

Oh, very nice. The story moves along at a good pace. I like the bit in the library (somehow I suspect that'll be important later) and the bits with Terry and Susan in Paris were quite good. Drcao and Luna are very much of an interesting and evolving couple.

All i have to say is that this is another great chapter of this amazing story! (not that we'd expect anything less) Great job!

Great chapter! I especially liked the part where Harry and Hermione visit Egypt and the Great Library. Your descriptions of the clothing and customs provided a nice change of scenery.

I was just thinking about how much I was looking forward to a new chapter of this last week! (then x-men three came out and I kinda forgot about HP for a bit, because ZOMGXMEN) I hope you two are feeling better, and Luna with a daughter sounds fantastic. It really really does. But then, so does all them with children because they all seem like delightful people. It was an interesting way to solve west/middle east relations. Will China play a part in the story? Is it as large of a percentage of the wizarding world as it is the muggle world? Will it have the same impact? Anyways, good stuff!

Wonderful chapter. Poor Draco indeed. I can't wait to see what you do with Dudley now. As for the honeymoons being cut short, it's probably better for the rest of the world as a roaming Harry has already changed the political climate in the middle east enough for now.

Nice Update, I have been (lurking) and enjoying your stories for quite a while now. I usually don't have anything to say but...

I do have a little concern about your treatment of the Great Library of Alexandria. Just off the top of my head ... While Theodosius certainly ordered the burning of the Pagan texts at Alexandria, in 300 and something, the library was known to have limped on until the Arab invasion in the late 600s when it was burned to the ground. From aproximately 330 BC it was a Macedonian/Greek colony ruled by the Ptolemaic Dynasty, the founder of which was one of Alexander the Greats generals. Cleopatra (VIII) was the last of this line. After this it because first a Roman colony then a Byzantine (Eastern Roman Empire) colony. At the time of Theodosius there were no Arabs in North Africa - they did not come piling out of Arabia until the late 600s. The rescuers of the library would almost certainly have Graeco-Roman names not Arab names. The Coptic Christians, which make up about 10% of the country are the last remnants of these.

Thank you for listening to this Public Service Broadcast.

Nice nit picking, but if you want accuracy, then don't read fiction.   In our FICTIONAL VERSION OF HISTORY, a wizard, with help, sunk the Wizarding portion of the library. Leaving the muggle version to suffer the fate you described. If I wanted to, I could have said the library was created by Martians, thats the beauty of fiction.

Now that you've picked on our nits, there are some others in the corner you can pick in private.

Love this story, can't wait for more! I'm guessing that Ginny at least is also pregnant but I've a wondering feeling about the other two as well.

Wow, that was long, twisty, geographically diverse and full of sneakiness! I love it! Thanks for the update, and I hope that RL allows you to post again soon.

Hey you two, another marvelous chapter for us to chew on. I found your treatment of the honeymooners quite refreshing and interesting as well. Can't wait to see Ginny's revenge on the twins. The Library of Alexander and Harry helping save it thereby swaying much of the Middle East Wizarding wold to Britains Cause was a stroke of genius. Well done. Lots of fast paced action here to keep things moving, so I quite enjoyed it. Thanks, as always for your efforts to entertain us.

Wonderful chapter Bob & Alyx!

Susan getting pregnant will definately reduce her involvement in the war and helping Harry but I guess something will have to be done to accomodate her and not make her feel left out... I can just imagine the tantrums and hormonal behaviour she might display when and if she might be told to stay out of the main war effort... unless by some twist in the fic, she has a miscarriage, which is undesirable but there is definately a minute possibility.

I hope Luna waits until after the war.. I enjoyed the description of Draco quite a bit when Luna seemed fixated on a baby...

Good thing overall that the medallions(sp?) showed their usefulness...

The foray into religion had me concerned for a bit but you handled it nearly perfectly... Considering that Harry has no knowledge and/or background with religion, it will be interesting to see what effect and influence Hermione has on him and whether he will yield to her efforts or not...

And ofcourse, the honeymoon scenes were enjoyable though I doubt there was much need for the warning about sex scenes you gave when posting the chapter.

Can't really forget the Millicent/McG scene... had me ROFL...

Thanks for posting the chapter. I hope Alyx can cope with her added duties to her satisfaction and can concentrate on the fic whenever she possibly can.

Take care!

SUSAN'S PREGNANT!!! HAHAHA!!! BRILLIANT! yes, um, anyway (recovers dignity). Excellent chapter, absolutely fantastical, ruddy brilliant, etc, etc, do you really want me to carry on?

Anyhow...

I particularly liked the scene in the library. Are the members of Blood Jihab going to resurface anytime, likewise with Rupert Cinan, or were they just little, inconsequential sub-plots for Harry's busy life while he's on honeymoon? (that was one long sentence...)

I can't wait for Ginny's confrontation with Fred and George- that was one brilliant idea. Talking of confrontations, are you going to write a scene for the two Black Sisters (Andromeda and Narcissa)?

another one up, another one down.

Excellent chapter, as usual I can find nothing to complain about (You guy are making it tough for me to keep my Intimidating critic status). I must say that I especally liked the culture blending dipected in the middle east. The customs are still there, but they are not harshly inforced, they are the guidelines that laws are intended to be.

I am eagerly awaiting your next chapter, Please keep up the excellent work!

Like it lots! Although Moody could add alot to the story, I'm glad atleast someone there gets to be what they want-Moody getting some peace. Poor Harry wants the same thing mostly but he never does get it...
