Love the new chapter...

I like how things are heating up with France and hope to see more in the next chapter...

As for those telling you the story is too long... I think its great and you should take your time on it because its so good id hate to see it get ruined by a rush job (sort of like HermanTumbleweed on Rising Phoenix... Im still confused if they are finished writing it or if they were just summarizing whats to come)...

Cant wait for the next chapter and i am really interested in the repercussions of France's actions with Harry's group, the British and internationally....

Now for some begging and pleading...

Pretty Please with Sugar and a Cherry on top update again soon...
i know you said early next year... but i am hoping that by asking really really nicely or as the case my be shamelessly begging, the update will be like 1/2/07 or 1/3/07 (gotta allow time to recover from the new year festivities :) )

Thanks

I can't feel sorry for Amhar at all, he made his bed and has to lie in it. As for the French ministry, I figure they haven't had it bad enough - yet. The overall dynamics of this chapter are excellent as is the balance of the different story lines.

*chuckle* I have news for the speaker counting on their nuclear arsenal, that can be neutralized wihtout overmuch difficulty (cf. "Cauldron" by Larry Bond). If anything, the ability to do so is easier today than it was when that novel was written.

Wonderful chapter and Happy holidays

I am really enjoying your story the way your characters grow and change.

The only thing I wonder about is why does it seem all Harry's enemies are unable to do any real damage to the people around him. Surely in a war as you created, his side will lose some key players. Just thought.

Keep up the good work!

What a nice holiday present, personally I'd rather have Operation Headshot, but let's see what Amelia pulls off.

And, what sort of havoc will Peeves and his brothers cause!!!!!

Here is wishing the Merriest of Christmases and a Very Happy and Succesful New Year - thanks for leaving us with a very nice chapter as an early Christmas gift. Loved the chapter, the short interlude with Peeves and his brothers was nice - Did they damage the wall with Chung, or just temporarily injure the animal?

Glad that Neville is OK - and ans long as Amhar is dead - good riddance.

I have to go with Operation Headshot - I have long maintained that it is far more moral to take out the decision makers than to have a war where the majority of the victims are either civilians or soldiers who had nothing at all to do with the causes of the conflict.

warmest regards

Outstanding chapter, it was nice to see Amelia reign in Harry regarding headshot, though I'd be inclined to go that route. The bit with Amhar was perfect, while I like the idea of Harry beating the snot out of him, having his sins catch up with him like this is nicer. The part with Harry getting sick made for a nice little aside as well as Oliver and the quiditch team. Great job, thank you.

But Alyx - the horns are so cute. :-)

OK, minor nitpick time

"Your saying the French are being obstructionist simply because it annoys the British?"

"The piece of you inside me makes it so I hurt when your hurting."

I love your stories - all of them I've read so far - but I hate it when I see things like "you're" and "your" being mixed up.

Having said that, I'd be most upset if you stopped writing, so if nitpicks peeve {no pun intended} a lot, then feel free to ignore me and keep on writing, bugs and all!

Good chapter, I especially enjoyed the Harry and Dan interaction. Armored magic carpets....only Harry could think of that.

Personally, after everything Amhar had managed to dirty himself with by the end, he deserved a death just like the one he recieved. He dealt with the wrong people, ones who don't give mercy and even he couldn't weasel his way out of that.

Perhaps you could explain the Avalonian council in more depth. If you did already then perhaps you could point out where so I could go back and read it.

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season,
Matt

Thanks, I enjoyed this! The muggle drugs in the IV's gave me the willies, though, as I expect it was meant to do. Have a very Merry Christmas, and I'll 'see' you next year.

Awesome story that has kept me spellbound for almost a week (between the 2 stories)

I hope there is a messy comeupance(sp?) for Mr De Lion coming. He really yanked my chain.

Thank you very much for writing and I eagerly await the next installment.

Well put. We sit here getting fat, dumb, and happy reading what you feed us (which, by the way is a great meal in every chapter) and never say thank you.
So you can take this as 23 chapters of Thank You for being fantastic writers.

Bob,

Couldn't find you e-mail address, so I am leaving you a blooper I found in a review. The story is called, We, in Faith, by Elagabalus. Chapter URL is http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2392328/7/. About halfway down it says "Dress robes will born,".

Enjoy,

Hesuse

I know that the Holiday season makes it hard as Real Life interfers, but could you sneak another Chapter in before the year ends, as a Christmas Present to all your fans?

grey-wings posted a comment on Sunday 10th December 2006 6:07am

It's been some time, since I last had the time to read and enjoy your fanfiction. (This little inconvenience named Real Life really likes to mess with that.)

Enough of that. Kudos for your marvellous work! It's a real pleasure to read your story, to follow the development of the different characters and I like the fact, that you work with such a variety of point of views (Is that the correct phrase?).

Regards from Germany,
Grey-Wings

....I have no idea where to start. This story is just so magnificent that it's overwhelming to even think that I could possibly let you
know how much I love it in one review.

I've deliberately held off on reviewing this story until I caught up with it, because I wanted to be able to give you guys a whole review.

Let me start off with -- OH. MY. LORD. -is dead- Your descriptive power that you've harnessed in writing this story is just...phenomenal. There has never been a time when I've questioned 'what does that mean, exactly?', when normally, I do.

Secondly, I applaud you on flexing your writing muscle in writing a ship that you don't support. That in itself is incredibly admirable.

Third, the characters -- You've managed to make the characters your own, while at the same time managing to keep them the same 'people' we know and love. You've brought some that we don't normally see into play, and molded them into dynamic, '3-D' characters, and it's simply incredible.

And last, the plot. Which happens to be incredible. The slow [and steady -- it's at the perfect pace, trust me] progression of this has just left my jaw on the floor as I continue to read this. Extraordinary job.

Some of the things I found wonderful [whether disturbing or happy]:

-Dumbledore giggling...very, very graphic. Dumbledore's fall in general was written wonderfully.

-The Matura Magicus back in Sunset. Who else could have thought of that? Certainly not me. And it was such a wonderful plot device to make Harry powerful enough to handle Ol' Voldie.

-The ships. I'm a HHr person myself, but I love ALL the ships in this story. Which is rare, I assure you. Normally I don't care about the rest of the characters. In this story, I do.

-Amhar. You've created such a wonderful plot device with this character -- one that we all love to hate. While he's not my favorite character, I do adore him...in a twisted way. Not that I don't want him to die, mind you.

-The Dementor blade. Genius. No one else could have thought up such a thing.

-Luna's being Child of Gaea (Gaia?). Again, another wonderful creation. As well as with Ginny's power.

...and I've exhausted everything that I can think of right now. But trust me, there's plenty more.

And now, like every bad reviewer, I demand answers out of you!

1) Will we ever read more into Hermione's lineage?

2) When will Susan's baby be born?

3) I realize you've got quite a stretch to go, what with Harry is no where [I think] close to battling Voldemort, but I was wondering if you had any idea of how long where this story was going to go. Say, would you give us a length epilogue of the Brotherhood's children playing together, or will it just end shortly after The Battle? Of course, I realize you don't want to spoil us, so I have no idea why I'm asking this really....

I hope you realize that you've converted me to thinking that your story is canon, lol. Now, whenever I read the 6th and 7th books, I'm going to have to say that 'It's all wrong! Half of the story is missing! What's this Horcrux business?'

But I wouldn't have it any other way. I prefer these stories to the road that JKR is taking, personally.

Again, incredible job. I certainly look forward to reading your next installment [and my next adventure].

Thanks that Minerva is still alive. But how many others draggers are there out? More that two?.
And poor Voldy indeed, our Peeves was a force but with severals Poltergeist there he would had any moment of peace, I do hope so.
Would you killed Coeur de Lion in the next time?.
Regards and waiting for another update like always.

Kalen Darkmoon posted a comment on Thursday 7th December 2006 1:41pm

Great chapter! In my not so humble opinion, this and Sunset are far better in quality and depth than any of JKR's books. As far as I'm concerned (and particularly because I **loathe** HBP and refuse to acknowledge it for the garbage that it is) this has become my favorite continuation of her work and will, for me at least, be the official continuation.

BTW, have you considered posting this and Sunset on other sites like Portkey and Fanfiction.net? I really think this deserves far greater recognition than what I believe it to be currently receiving.
