Nice work so far. I have to say I'm impressed, as it takes a very simple change, forgetting the recording parchment, and leads us into this very AU version. I like it.

As always, your stories are interesting, but I do have to say I think you made it a little confusing with your words about that tracker of Dumbledores. You have said a couple times now that when Harry lost his magic, all the tracking spells, bindings, etc., on him were removed, and when his magic came back, they didn't. Wouldn't that mean the tracker stopped working?

Maybe I read it wrong, and if I did, sorry, but that's the way it seemed to me. Looking forward to more as always.

I really like this story. The even pacing and its character focus is refreshing. The slowly developing romance between Harry and Hermione is sweet, and I especially like the toned down angst from Harry. It's fun to see 'what might have been' as Harry gets his wish from the end of Prisoner...

Nice story, interesting plot, blah blah blah ... the usual.

But if I can make one request? Use less italics please. Like half or more of the story (err chapter) is in italics and it simple hurts my eyes to read that much. Maybe you can think of a different way to separate letters from normal text. But in my opinion the header is enough.

Another great chapter. The italics were a little mindboggling, but I managed to slog through to the end. I think you're doing a nice job of developing Harry/Hermione and it looks as though you're going to sort out Sirius so that begs the question of whether Remus still pairs off with Tonks. Not sure how I feel about Ron's redemption, but if you can make it believable, so much the better. Regardless, thanks for the update. Can't wait for the next one.

I'm loving this story so far, and I don't see that changing. As much as I usually prefer more action-oriented fics (like Sunset/Sunrise), I also love the more light hearted ones, like this one seems to be. I haven't read through your other reviews, but based on some of your comments (and how well I know the fanfic-community), I assume you have and will be getting complaints, but I strongly feel that variety in fics is a very good thing; reading the "same" fics over and over again would get very boring, very quickly, so I'm glad you're doing something different. And so far, this is just as excellent as I've come to expect of your writing.

It will be very interesting to see how things turn out, especially now that McGonagall has some suspicions (and Hermione will be going back to Hogwarts soon, where I expect she'll be facing an interrogation :) ), and having Sirius getting involved with a muggle who's so similar to him in personality is just a recipe for disaster (in a good way, hopefully!).

Keep up the great work, I'm already looking forward to the next chapter!

Well, I am happy to have another of your stories to read, a new one at that. I have read Sunset so many times... Anyways, when I read the first chapter I thought it was going to be another one-shot like 'Wizard's Fall', but I am glad it is a chaptered story. I really enjoy your writing and can't wait to see where you take this story. I loved the whole first chapter and the prank and everything. I also like how you broke up this chapter and added humor, especially with the Quibbler stories. I can't wait to see more.

Maybe Comedy/Drama/FluffyRomance would have worked better? I guess I was expecting something more realistic and not as sugar-coated.
It's not a criticism. Well, not a serious one. I'll just skip this one and hope for the best for your next fic. Maybe the characters will even change their sob story a little next time. I can always hope.

Dumbledore seemed to be understated in canon, there is so much about him that was never explained, for all we know he really was a dark wizard wannabe who semi-repented. And those bikini scenes seemed very tastefully done in my opinion. Too often stories go from Y to NC-17 too quickly.

Quite the interesting chapter there with lots of character development, some plot development, but a whole lot of character development. *wicked chuckle* It does sound as if Minerva's caught on, thanks to that bauble of Albus'; somehow I doubt she's going to make too much of it, other than to pass a message through Hermione offering any help she can give (if she only knew!!). It'll be quite interesting to watch their relationship grow as well as watch the relationships around them, Sirius/Cindy, Neville/Ginny, et al. I do wonder how long Ron will stay in his "prathood" stage before maturing? Then again, I'm not totally certain he ever did in canon.

Oh, one thing Minerva could definitely help them with is getting in to properly ward the Chamber (or at least Slytherin's Chamber, if there's more than one) against Nagini. If Nagini/Tom has already found the remains of basilisk, I'd give rather poor odds for Lucius' continued survival and only slightly better odds for Narcissa and Draco.

Hey I'm sorry that I kinda forgot to leave a review on the first chapter of this fine and outstanding story! I'm having computer problems you see where I get the dreaded blue screen of death every two hours unless I reboot before then, which lets it reboot and come back up a whole lot easier let me tell you that!

But anyway outstanding story like always you and your wife are one hell of a team, excellent writers and extremely gifted storytellers to boot!

Simply love this story, oh and the budding romance of Harry and Hermione and also the focus rings are way cool. but got one question for you! Where's Dobby!?! I think at this time he should be at hogwarts didnt he deliver something for christmas to Harry in his dorm during 4th yr, so what you need to do is have him bring something to Harry Potter sir Grangey and from that he can instinctly know where his beloved Harry Potter sir is at and immediately go to him offering him his services!

Dobby plays only a very minor, invisible role in this story. In fact he's been hired on by Sirius and is working at Grimmauld Place, but we won't see much of him until Harry returns to Britain.
