oh, that was great. i laughed. i cried. i laughed til i cried some more. rita skeeter got zapped by a bug zapper. u guys r both officially and permanently in my books as my personal heros. and have i mentioned how the quibbler has become my favorite periodical? ya know, i feel a bit sorry for malfoy tho. i can understand that feeling of wanting to scream like a banshee anytime something pink comes near me and that image of umbridge turning up pregnant would scare the wits out of anyone.
remus is finally getting into the swing of the love story! i think that lunch with him and tonks was just great. the interaction between them was just too cute. the interaction between cindy and sirius is just great too. the roller coaster honeymoon is just an awesome idea! and of other relationships, i'm glad ron finally got it thru his skull that he ought to just accept the fact that him and hermione will only ever be friends.
that was a nice smack to frances. i can't wait to see what u'll do to lavender! i imagine that hex hermione put on her book will indeed be quite nasty and hopefully it'll teach lavender a lil lesson.
by the way, not that it's important but what's going to happen to that crystal that harry made? anyway, i totally enjoyed this chapter. i can't wait for more. update soon! i beg of u!!

Once again, excellent chapter.
I really like how you're focusing on the character relationships while still developing an interesting plot.
My only random thought that lead to a question is, since Harry didn't give out the winnings from the tri-wizard to the Gred and Forge, has their joke shop ambitions been put on the back burner?
If this was already mentioned and I missed it somewhere - my bad.

If you remember from Chapter 1, Harry never competed in the tournament and he left before it even started. Therefore the twins never got the money they needed.

Nice work. The changes seem well thought out, tho' I think you are underestimating the amount of emotional healing that can be done with the mental arts.
Loved Rita's end. Maybe she can become a fantasy writer. Lord knows she has enough experience.
I'm surprised Herms' is doing so little to guard herself. I'd think that being with Harry would encourage her to be at least a little more paranoid.

Gotta tell ya, this has turned into one of my favorite Harry/Hermoine stories - I like a good mix of action and romance, and you have done an excellent job with that.
This chapter was really good working through some of the doubts that Harry and Hermoine had with each other, and I think that will help them both to grow.
Hopefully things will continue to get better for all couples involved in this story.
Interesting things I noticed...
Cindys potion brewing skills - if it takes 7 years for students to finish potions at school, and then it takes a master, and Hermoine or Harry can't brew it, then how after not that long can Cindy be close to brewing it?
Overall like I said before this is one of my favorite stories, and I can't wait to read the next update - I keep looking for it during the week!
If you have any recommendations for any other good Action/Romance fics I'd appreciate it(I've read just about everything on this site though!)

Great chapter! I like the way you have Harry and Hermione interacting. Love isn't all about sex...although its an awful nice frosting on the cake!

Very nicely done. I like how you are introducing intermediate antagonists to maintain some dramatic tension while the preparatory work is being done. (The schooling, etc...)
Ron gradually coming around was nicely done as well. Seeing Hermione and "Evan" together would likely make him come to accept things, and dating a Hufflepuff like Hannah would likely make him come to realize that he needs to value his friendships. Very believable.
And yeah, most families have a Frances or two. Yay for a muggle antagonist as well, another test past, and another 'ghost' of the past laid to rest.

Can't you write faster or something? Can I come and type while you dictate, or make hot cocoa runs or something to get your creative juices flowing quicker?
This is just toooooo slow in coming out! I want more! Quicker! Faster!
Okay. Seriously. This is a terrific story, with fantastic character development. The story line is believeable, and well thought out.
I like the way Ron is growing up, especially emotionally. I think Lavender needs a smack-down and I loved the way you put Frances in her place. More punishment for those who stand in the way of Harry and Hermione!
And good job on the Malfoy punishment, too. Had to laugh at that one.
So, well done ("Thank you, Mr. Grace!") and keep up the fantastic work! And write faster, please?

Awesome Chapter!!!! When you say just one more chapter before Harry's back in England I'm assuming that your going to cover the rest of his N.E.W.T year along with Hermione's Sixth Year right? How far past that will you go in the next chapter and the story as a whole? When you say 8 or 9 chapters is that including a Epilogue or are you not going to have one? Do keep up the awesome work and update soon please!:):):):)

It's been a while since I've read any of your stories. I do like the way you tell a story and your sense of humor.
This story is a little different (just like you mentioned) and it's taking me a while to get used to it.

Well done. it does make more sense the the Cruciatus would be more damaging because if it was only painful, there are people who have very high pain threshold and would not be bothered by it and that would not make it an unforgiveable. only a nusance. Great job.

Great chapter. I'm glad Tonks is onboard now, specially since she is getting closer to Remus, I do like this pairing.
Oh, You know, I'm still a bit worried about Lavander, I hope she doesn't make too much trouble for Harry and Hermione. Can you trip her on a pile of manure for me? Thanks, really apreciated (sp?).
