Well, once again a beautifully crafted chapter, one that had my eyes glistening with unshed tears one moment and had me laughing out loud the next - only you two can pull this sort of writing off that has your readers wanting more.

You have left a few titbits lying around in this chapter which hopefully you will pick up in the next chapter. The thing with the 'focus crystal' that Harry created and the bonding of Dobby to Harry - where will that get Harry with Hermione, unless you have already covered it and I missed it?

Will wait anxiously for your next writing escapade with bated breath....

Excellent, looking forward to the climax. It will be interesting what'll happen next, the climax will probably be very entertaining.

The chapter was lovely as always, the Japanese exam was very enjoyable to read. Keep writing!

What a lovely Christmas present - last work day of the year, with business ultra slow, i got to spend an hour with several of my closest non material friends.

thanks for a great chapter, I thought the exams were very well done, and the Japanese one would surely demonstrate actual ability more clearly than some formal written paper. (As to the accent - I have spoken french for 28 years, including 8 1/2 in country, and Still have a thick american accent.

I think that the romance is perfectly done, not "wank material" but healthy and loving, which makes for long lasting.

Note to the Quibbler: Harry did NOT ride a broom to the Moon! Honestly, there's no way a Firebolt could reach escape velocity. He obviously used the (Chinese) Lawn Chair Mk II. Either that or he seriously overcharged a Portkey. I actually started thinking about that, when I read his journal entry about the Portkey issue. A little charms work to make his full-body shield a full-body Bubble-Head charm, one seriously overcharged Portkey, a wizarding camera, and Hey Presto! First Wizard on the Moon! He could even bring Luna back some moon rocks... ^_^; That'd be great, everybody thinks the Quibbler's nuts, and they publish pictures from Harry's impromptu trip to the Moon. (Why yes, I do like Luna; how'd you guess?)

I liked the Defense exam; Harry was there to be tested, and his testers ended up being schooled. Bet it's a while before they even _think_ the word 'kid' again.

His Oriental Culture NEWT made a lot of sense; if you want to find out what someone knows, you talk to him about it.

Poor Dan; he's worried about being a grandfather too soon, and the kids aren't even moving in that direction yet--for them, sleeping together means just that, and that's enough for them. Not that that won't change, but for now, all that's happening is Dan's hair turning gray.

Well, that was a very enjoyable chapter. I was a little disappointed with the whole Lavender thing, as she should have had much worse done to her. At the very least, Harry should have a word with Ernie as well. The bit with the defense mastery was inspired, as well as the Americans reaction to things, but does that mean he now has to introduce himself as Potter.... Harry Potter?

As I have come to expect with your writings this story has only left me wanting more. I am loving the character driven aspect of this story as opposed to the stories where the story is driven by the plot and only by the plot without any character development. So PLEASE keep up the good work and get another chapter out soon so I can read more.

I don't usually write a reveiw but I had to get this in. I read little snippets of this story to my friend and she likes what you are doing with Harry. She has told that she thinks it's funny. I can't wait for the next chapter to come out, but please take your time and make it as great as you can.

Another excellent chapter, oh gurus of the written Harry Potter story (or typed as the case may be).

I love seeing how Hermione and Harry's relation is growing and how they are each growing as people. Hermione's answer to the Lavender problem was funny as heck. She NEEDED to be hit, dangit (and I'd've done it far sooner but I'm more violent than Hermione is).

I also really like the journal entries so DON'T cut them out. :D

Great to see the next part of this, and a dozen Krispy Kreme stealth donuts on the way! The characters continue to grow here, and I like the way that the relationships continue to build, too bad that couldn't happen in canon. Harry and Hermione are growing together more and More, Cindy's a delight, and could see Harry living in Japan for a while.

I'd recommend living in the Kyoto area if he wants to see more of Old Japan, along with Nara, the ancient capital in the first millinieum.

Makes me wonder in the end who is leading the Cult of Voldemort, along with what might be happening later on with that, or whether they'll always be a pests for Harry and Co. I felt a bit sad for Lavender at the end, as she let her own little insecurity run and possibly mess her life up badly, if she comes back, I hope that she can use this opportunity to actually grow up some.

Another great chapter. I am really enjoying the pace of this story. I love stories with lots of detail and chapter that are long enough for me to immerse my self into.

The story chapter was great. I always love the updates, but this time the author notes at the end were far more fun. Seriously, I read the story for a cool thread, lots of plot twists, threads of ideas getting woven together into a very nice package. But I read the author notes for the laughs you always cause. Please... keep up with both because they are more than worth it.
