We are trying to work with a 2 week update schedule, which is far more often than many other authors. It's the best you're gonna get from us. Sorry. :)

Your efforts on making this a more character-based story are helping me better understand how to write my interpersonal conversations and situations.
How you do it gives me an external and non-personal view of your process.
Cheers!

This hasn't been as easy as if first appeared. There is a big tendency to drop into event driven prose and I think you can't entirely do away with event driven plot points.
I'd like to think we've achieved a workable balance, but I won't really know for sure until it's all done.
We're glad this helps, it's been educational for us too.

So... Gin and Molly are still prejudiced. Understandable. What of Neville? He's probably never met a Muggle in his life, but would always remain loyal to Hermione (who always helped him with his schoolwork) and, to some extent, Harry (who never laughed at him, even if he wasn't really friends with him).
You two write good.

Here's another fine chapter you've got me into, Stanley... I'm very grateful.
Cindy works.

Enjoyed this on the second read. WIll probably still enjoy a third.
Best line:
Surprisingly, the twins spoke to Neville and they promised him that they would keep Ron under control.

Please tell me that Alison Harrington is a salute to Honor Harrington's mother in the series by David Weber.

Nope it's a pure coincidence.

Well, I'm at a loss for words, Reviewers actually don't like this? OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!! Seriously cut off their heads or actually prick it with a needle and deflate it. You guys are the best. I may not review often But I do appreciate your hard work and your writing. I agree with the fact that books 6 and 7 basically suck, although I may be biased, I've read too much fanfiction. Thanks for your work and dedication to the enjoyment of the masses.
Are danish's a good donut substitute? I like bear claws personally, shall I send Some?

I have a question is Harry going to teach DADA in Hermione 7th year to be closer to her at Hogwarts and then at the graduations let the cat out of the bag in front of everyone an ask her to marry him. Then move to FiJi an work at the new school there.

Yikes Alyx, after the intro and follow up do you really think any of your devoted readers would dare be anything less than both fullsome in their compliments and appreciative of the wonderful stories you turn out? I'm guilty of usually just saying how much I enjoy the writing, and please keep it up so I'm not in a constant state of anticipation. . .but maybe I'll have to join the adoring masses and start sending virtual llamas--er, or maybe donuts? (it doesn't sound like the lemmings are safe)

Wonderful update. I especially enjoyed seeing 'Evan' meet Mrs. Weasley, Ginny and Ron. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny's reactions towards Muggles really do a good job of illustrating just how prejudice the British Magical World is. I also liked the scene of Harry floating Minerva's cat form over the pool.

Very nice, Can't wait for the relationship to move along a little. One thing though, how did McG find out about Harry at the Grangers?
Nice work guys

Alyx (and Bob),
I just wanted to say that I've been following your stories since Dumbledore's Army (and I disagree...those are good enough to be posted on this site!) and I agree (as well) that this story is a one of a kind for ya'll.
I like how it is character driven instead of event driven (though I'll miss the whole Snape-being-married-to-a-troll...)
I just sat down and in 4 hours, read all four chapters. I simply love where you are going with this. This story capitalizes all the issues in my relationship with my current boyfriend. I'm seriously debating getting him on here to read this.
XD
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I love where you're going with this and I hope to see another chapter REALLY soon!

Outstanding chapter. love the fluff. Harry needs some good times and less kick him in the head stories. Really good stuff.

Illegitimi Non Carborundum This story is fun, it evoked some fairly strong emotional reactions in me. Write for fun, ignore the jerks and realize for every person that nit-picks you have a hundred or more that are quietly enjoying your works. *Sneaks Bob a few cupcakes.* I know they won't let you have donuts, but have they said no cupcakes?

Outstanding chapter. I really love Luna, she is so refreshing and such a doll. I am so glad Harry is strong and taking charge of his life. I really like this story.

I do hope you don't mind but I find it amusingly ironic to read complaints about spelling and grammar in your reviews from someone who spells Alex with a 'Y':-)
