How intriguing.
I like this bit of fluff, and think it has loads of potential.
That being said, I still cannot decide if the potential is gravitational, elastic, thermal or electric. I am working on the math, but need a larger word count to complete the calculations.
:)
How's that for a request to update soon?!?
Better than a llama in the shorts?

This is great. I loved the Quibbler articles included in this chapter, and the idea behind the focus rings is fascinating XD

A nice chapter, keep it up. You once mentioned that you were going to do a Harry Potter/X-man crossover, is that still going to happen?

Alex and Bob, congratulations you have once again started a story that, in my opinion, will be among the top. Now I have to face waiting, with baited breath, (I have to find some good mouthwash), for the next update. Thank you for producing such well thought out and detailed stories.

Great story so far and I look forward to more. I particularly like the way that H&H are letting their relationship develop slowly. Is Hedwig around at all?

An excellent addition to the story, a refreshing change on most stories involving harry/hermoine, as these tend to stick much to canon, e.g. sirius dies and harry is pulled to hermoine in his grief, etc.
I know that you probably wanted to ensure that readers saw the growing relationship between harry and hermoine, but the snippet of mcgonagall finding the tracker was a tad bit too short imho. it would have been nice for a little further expansion in this to better build anticipation as to what mcgonagall and ollivander would do with the information.
Wonder will harry get gryffindor's sword as a symbol of his heritage? How will he return to the wizarding world, only future chapters may tell, keep it up!!!

Thanks for the fic and update Bob/Alyx. You can have any animals you want Bob, as long as I get updates. Well, at least the virtual ones. Ignore flamers, send them into a blackhole or something. Stay healthy.

Well, this is an interesting story building here. It also seems to be something quite different from your usual work.
I note from your closing A.N. that this is a personality driven story, mostly a romance. I'm not usually a fan of pure fluff, so I'm glad that the closing of the Voldemort issue will exist in the background.
Whether this will be enough to keep me reading is another matter. However, I have a soft enough heart that I am willing to give it a try, especially with authors as good as you two.
So... what next? Obviously McGonagall is going to work things out independently before too long. What isn't certain is how she will react. She may be of the opinion that, should Harry wish to make a new life for himself away from Britain, that is his business. On the other hand, she might see the chance to get power through him and... well, as Dumbledore showed, the lure of easy power has corrupted far older and wiser wizards than she. Additionally, if Harry still has his magic, so may Tom and she may end up disrupting our heroes' strategy trying to warn people of this looming threat.
In any case, I will be reading to see more.

what a great update! i like how you are writing real people and not the 1d ones found so much in fanfic (and book 7 what a waste of paper).

hi Bob,
I'm going to first off say that I love your story. you two just have a brilliant style that sucks me in for hours of enjoyable reading.
Kudos to you!
That said, as a travel agent, who sells a LOT of Fiji, I cringe. Alot, when reading about things they do in Fiji.
I'll post in your Yahoo Group when I get home:)

I am really enjoying the story here. Good job.
I am not sure if you want suggestions, but little quips about people entering "the next grand adventure" might be interesting, or funny, or maybe even stupid.
I can imagine short outtakes like the lawn chair (which was hilarious), showing Dumbledore and Wormtail interracting with the Potters and others on "the other side". Other DE or Voldie misadventures could add some levity as well.
Honestly, I tire of the emus, llamas, killing Snape, etc. that comes at the beginning of the chapter. They were funny early on, but I struggle with them now. I will probably just ignore them in the future - I hope that doesn't offend you.
Your writing style is extrememly engaging, and enjoyable. You have always stayed positive, even when dealing with some nasty things. I truly love all of the stories you have published. Great job!

great read so far, this chapter was long as hell though. Really hope it continues this way and doesnt fall flat on its ass as most fics seem to do when people get tired of writing and just want it to end. (Kinda like what JK did with her "I need to talk to ginny, but there would be alot of time to talk later" statement cause she never cared for character development.
I find myself looking forward to the updates, that doesnt happen often; great work!

Great, you are back on line again, it is difficult to find a good fanfiction on the web, so I really enjoy yours. There is only one bad thing about a new one from you, I need a new chapter every other day to make it, but I know that is not possible, so I WILL try to wait ......!!!!
I like this Harry, he is quiet, and things come slow to him, that is good. It can be a bit to much, when he has a new power every time he is turning a corner.
Loking forward to a new chapter soooooon, greetings to you and your llama-boss.

Outstanding chapter!!!! I can't wait to read what happens in the next chapter. I loved the chapter. But will the story end with us reading about Harry and Hermione's wedding and about Voldemort being dead? How far in the timeline will this story actually go? Will we be reading about Harry and Hermione having kids at some point in this story? When you say Ron will regain what little senses he has do you mean he'll stop being the moronic prat he is? Will Lucius be given the Dementor's kiss? Do keep up the outstanding work and update soon please:):):):)

the poor emu. y did u have to kill the poor emu?! *cries, sniffle, sniffle.* oh, well, i'm sure it deserved its poor fate.
i was just about finished all my work for the day and about to turn off the computer when i figured i'd give the old e-mail a quick check. figures that there's an update to this story so of course, there's no way i would go to bed when i had a new chapter to read for one of ur stories. and now that i've finished reading the story, i can't go to sleep anyway cause the baby is now kicking me incessantly. i hope u know it's ur fault and i'm not sending any donuts! tho honestly, i'm quite used to the sleep depravation due to staying up late and reading fanfics and whatnot, having the baby kick the entire night so that i can't concentrate on my reading makes me a bit cranky!
anyway, i really like this story. i like the different pace of it from ur other stories and how it's more character driven. i always enjoy reading the odd the romance between harry and hermione, and u guys do a really good job at really developing the relationship between them. i feel a bit sorry for ron missing out on things but well, he's a bit thick-headed so it doesn't bother me too much and sirius still alive is always a good thing. i'm curious to see how far u take sirius's relationship with cindy. i can't wait for more!!
