good begining ... but with so many major characters taken care of, it seems you're cooking up something really wicked !! cant wait for more chapters !!

The new dark lord... Nagini the Snake?
lol, now that would be a story... congrats on this so far... i do like the idea of harry giving up his magic, even though i don't fully understand the reasoning behind how he can still do his magic... and yet still voldy has 'lost' everything? hmmmm...
the last scene with harry hermione, was very fluff... though nice... for once i would like to see Mr. Granger as a proper dad, one who keeps an eye on harry at all times, u know, no hanky-panky... and perhaps a smart and slytherin Mrs.granger.
besides that congats, and look forward to what complication you bring in the next installment...

*Standing Ovation* Bravo! The most original idea I have seen in a long while.

One further thought, here. Would the explosion of the Goblet have been helped along by its absorbtion of Voldemort's powers? Considering the link 'tween them, both directly and via the prophecy, I could see the Goblet's drain of Harry's powers as also draining Riddle's, perhaps even moreso as Harry's name was entered on Riddle's command. *chuckle* 'Twould be poetic justice if all future versions of Riddle, created from any of the remaining Horcruces (Horcruxes, whatever) came out squibs.

Great start to another of your stories.
I am surprised, though, that you haven't made a story detailing Dumbledore and Voldemort in cahoots to throw down the magical world, with Dumble and "the hyphenated one" splitting the proceeds.
Anyway, thanks for the entertainment.

An interesting story.
So fare….
I think that you have felt like me, I found that from the half blood price, the story looks like JKR just wanted to finish the story.
I envy the forethought of your discussion to got back fare enough to take it onto another path. But one of the things that I caught on to very early was your switch to the very early couple that was thought to blooming of Hermione and Harry.
I look forward to seeing more of this story.
Keep up the great imagination.

WHOO HOO! Praise the Donut Lords!
This is great, and that you shall continue it is even better! I'm curious as to what this story will follow as Voldemort is currently in the belly of his former snake, and everyone thinks he's a muggle now... oh and what the hell happened to HEDWIG?!?!?! I've noticed in all your stories Hedwig is either non-existant or not very important... So is she dead in this one or not important enough to include. ( A snowy white owl stares at you like she would love to peck your eyes out)
Anyway this an interesting read, that doesn't sound dark at all, though you could make it dark by having undead lamas from the Umbrella Corp. escape the secret laboratory on Fiji! ;) (no actual reason for that comement, except that you guys seem to have moved from colorful penguins to lamas)
Until next time... or a chance meeting at a Krispy Kreme factory.

That was, as usual, absolutely brilliant! 'The Butterfly Effect', indeed! How many people would have thunk Harry would voluntarily give up his magic. Nobody in the wizarding world, I'd imagine. Too many of them rely on their magic to do anything and everything. Pathetic!
Poor Dummbledore killed in a car crash. (A car crash? A car crash kill the most powerful wizard in the world? It's an outrage! Its...its a scandal!" Oh by the way, it was a tiny little obit on page nine. So long, and tanks for all the abuse!
Sevvy needs a cellmate. Maybe a 300 pound gorilla named 'Bubba'!
Voldy is food. Peter is foood. Fudge is dementor food. Ahh, life is good!
I shall anxiously await the next installment of 'Power of the Press'. Alorkin

Different for the two of you, but me gusta mucho...sorry, I was at work all night and the cooks are wearing off on me. Apart from resolving all aparant conflict in the story in the first chapter, I think you've got a great piece going here. Keep it up guys, always love to read anything you have to write.

A very nice little tale, as usual; and while I've seen other fics where Harry refuses to participate in the Tournament; you've added your own unique twist to it; bravo. I'm looking forward to future chapters.
Probably my favorite parts to this story were the last, the next to the last, and the first; in that order.
I've always been much more interested in character interaction then reading extensive descriptions about how Harry trained, detailed descriptions of what he bought, or long drawn out combat sequences.
