Now this is a very good way to have a Harry with Hermione story along with a very satisfying Dumbledore bash. I look forward to future chapters. It is so easy to find such good fanfiction after the disaster of what turned out to be the real seventh book

Hmm... you feel like adopting me and and giving me your skills in writing. you are currently still my favorite authors published or not published. Sunset/rise over britian is over Edners Game, Eragon... would help if i could spell... well bottom line is if you stop writing i will hunt you down and kidnap you and force your to write.
with much love

The thing I admire most in fanficton is originality and cleverness - good writing being a given requirement even though I see a lot without it.
This tales lays down one original concept after another. I love Harry's actions on the night of the name drawing. Terrific how Dumbledore's house of cards (reputation and plans) came tumbling down on him in major chunks over a few days.
I love the fact that the Heimlich saved Dumbledore, only to have death-by-double-decker.
I've never seen a manipulative Dumbledore where Fawkes' presence was better explained.
I can't wait for future chapters. Doom and Gloom on all pinhead review detractors.

now thats a nice ending to this chapter.... but if the magic isn't gone, then it brings alot of questions up that will probly be answered later, so i'll leave you for now.... good work as always... even if i don't review that often :( but good work all in all, adios for now...

would have worked perfectly as a one shot, but me being the greedy, romance loving bastard that i am can't wait to see more! the description on how harry kept his magic seemed a little forced but when surrounded by the rest of the story such a small speedbump is easily overlooked. can't wait for the next chapter.

Yay, a new story! Great first chapter, I really can't wait to see where you guys go with this. The explanation for the Goblet exploding was wonderful, and really original. Plus, Harry getting new power? Can't wait!
I love the scheming, Dumbledore getting his, Hermione's reaction to Harry, and well basically all of it!
Thanks for an awesome new story!

I like, but as someone said before it looks a lot like a summary.
The one thing that makes me uncomfortable is how you managed Hermione and Harry's reunion. It feels very out of character, especially compared to your other fics where you make it a little more believable.

Yay!!!
A great start to a great fic. Can't wait for the next chapter though i'm wondering what gonna happen next.
Thanks for another great Story!!
Laura
ps: Bob, I always wondered what you would get if you had a half Llama and Half Emu for Alyx??

Ooh, sneaky. In more than one way.
Love the interpretation of the prophecy.
By convincing everyone else that he'd been turned into a squib/muggle, they were convinced that LV was powerless. Which gutted the deez. And got Nagini to attack LV.
I noticed that the Goblet exploding killed Crouch Jr (or maybe he suicided when he realized the consequences). Nothing was ever made of it, but glad you included it.
Oh, and a forced binding on a phoenix? AD proves his stupidity by attempting such.
AD overlaying his wishes onto the Good Samaritan. Good inclusion.
Huh. No HBP, so no horcruxes. Which means Nagini could have killed Voldy. But he WASN'T magically powerless at the time.
But Nagini DID have a horcrux in her. *sigh* You're confusing me. So there is a horcrux, so Voldy will "survive", even if Nagini tried to kill him (we'll ignore exactly how nutritious [or indigestion inducing] the homoculus body is). Now whether a horcrux killing the owner has any ripple effects remains to be seen.
Instead of a "tweak this and see what happens", this is going to become a "grab and twist this event so out of shape you wonder if it's still the same timeline". Gonna be fun to watch.

Well, that was lovely. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here-whether Harry's other friends will find out what's going on, or the rest of the world eventually. It sounds like Voldemort still isn't really dead-or maybe Nagini will take his place, since she's got a bit of Tom's soul? I'm curious how that's going to work.
Anyway, it's very entertaining so far, and I look forward to reading more. Thanks for writing!
Jay
