Puff? Okay, all together "AAaaaaawww, how cute." <g> Now, if I could only get the tune out of my head. . . .
I really liked Angie and her group, and as usual, your rituals were well done. Couldn't Harry at least have left the tracker a gun and one bullet, though?

*snicker* I loved that "dumping" on the Ministry, Hogwarts, et al. as it's so deserved. I wonder if they'll ever realize who, really, is behind so many of their problems (well, the force their nonsense has irritated to interfere with them). It's another interesting and moving installment in this world and it's got an enjoyable blend of humor, adventure, and thoughtful moments.
I've got to admit, I have to wonder about Dumbledore's core beliefs and if what concern he showed for muggles was simply as tools to stop Tom? It should be interesting to watch him get more and more frustrated as he pushes and events slip more out of his grasp the harder he tries to hold them.
Good reading, here!!

This universe is getting better and better. It's always a bit sad do see what people (muggles or wizards) are capable of but still really interesting to read how they are deal with. I hope your muses keep providing.

And so Dumbledore's true villany is revealed... In a way, I suppose it's what might be expected of a hundred-and-fiftysomething-year-old man from an already conservative, even reactionary, backward culture, but one still never expects the Leader of the Light, however self-styled, to turn out to be evil like that -- but that's fanaticism for you, and Dumbledore is now revealed to be a true fanatic, obsessed with his own view of the "greater good" of the wizarding world. Well, his comeuppance is documented in the first story in this series -- just not early enough for people like Vinny.
This was another excellent addition to an equally excellent series. Quite different from Sunset/Sunrise, but recognisably similar as a Bobmin long story/series -- if only for the odd little twists that you throw in that keep your writing a pleasant twenty degrees to starboard of almost all other fics. Puff is a case in point, and a delightful addition to the cast; I hope we see more of her and Victoria in the future.
I'm always in two minds when someone introduces Wiccans into an HP fic; they can fit in all right, as they do here, or they can be a discordant element. One minor problem that I had with the coven in this story is that I don't really understand why the Aurors attacked them, much less tried to slaughter them out of hand; okay, the Ministries are rapidly becoming the worst kind of bigots, but why such a murderous attack on a group of Muggles? I can guess, but it would be better if I didn't have to.
Something that did jar a bit was the sudden introduction of the soul mate concept from Ron and Ginny. Maybe I'm too sensitive on this topic after all the Weasley-bashing that has followed the publication of DH, but I can't see the point of the idea that Harry and Hermione are soul mates and that Ron and Ginny would have only been second-best mates for them. Maybe this will be explained in a later story; I hope so, because otherwise it seems to be unnecessary, adding nothing to the story, which is disappointing. Although one idea did come to mind: maybe Ron and Ginny are destined for Harry and Hermione's children? Sirius and Ginny, and Ron and Emma? That would be a nice touch.
Still, as ever, I look forward to the next addition to the series -- with, hopefully, Luna. Once again, well done.

puff was a stroke of madness.
and the eulogy ceremony (as well as the sand portal to valhala) made me misty eyed.
love your stories guys.
if your familiar with any of martin shorts movies. i do believe capt'n ron should make an appearance.
and what's going to happen to tom the bartender? harry should bring him to the island, and bring the bar with him.

Well, have a donut now!
I don't know if Harry is crazy of if he hates having to kill so much that he has to go temporarily crazy to do the job.
Anyway, this is another great part of the "Wizard's Fall" universe. We see how Harry went from just saving his friends to being the nucleus and focus of the counter-purity movement. We also see the next step of his healing. This was all very well written with great characterisations and a page-turning plot.
I suspect that we will see the final stages of the pogrom of the mixed-blood people in the next chapter, plus the arrival of Luna. I'll be looking forward to it.
BenRG's Rating: 8/10
BTW: I'll bet that Tracker had a bit of vampire in him. It would explain some of his behaviour. It would also explain why Harry kept away from his magic - it would be corrupted and would carry the Vampire congagion.

Brilliant!
This is, without a doubt, even better than your Sunset/Sunrise stories. There is a level of maturity to your writing that is wonderful to see, and if you're not at least considering writing original fiction, you need your heads read!
I am enjoying this AU so much. Keep up the fabulous work. *offers large platter of mixed donuts, a warm banana maple syrup cake and a baked passionfruit and white chocolate cheesecake*

Excellent chapter! Hmmm... is that poltergeist in the Ministry related to Peeves? By the way, if there are other enclaves like Harry's will they end up in an allience? And the twin's pranks were awesome, and no doubt the Mauraders watched that little show with pride! Thanks again for writing this, it's great!

Wonderful as always. I really love the wiccans you introduced here. I am looking forward to seeing Luna introduced. She is by far my favorite character.
Oh, and you could always make a version of poor man's donuts that shouldn't be too bad for your diabetes. Simply deep fry a canister PIllsbury biscuits and sprinkle with Splenda. Each one would only be about a carb serving and if you used canola oil it wouldn't be to bad in the fats either.

Masterful work. The ceremony with Angie and the little girl... awesome.
Will there be more non-traditional magic? By that I mean non-wizarding world magic :D

Just dropping a note to say that I'm really enjoying this series about Norman's Cay. In fact, I've spent the last hour reading this installment despite the fact I have to be awake at a quarter to seven and it's now 3 a.m.
Looking forward to the next.
