"Your mission, Mr. Potter, should you decide to accept it..." Yeah, I can see Harry mounting such a rescue mission with those he's closest to, and pulling it off just as he did. I can also imagine that he took great joy in setting Albus up that way after what happened to Minverva (methinks there may be some interesting "additions" slipped through the wards and into the Hogwarts trasnfiguration classrooms in the near future). I appreciate your fleshing out Luna's story and I see where the Ministry has made a major mistake and is too ignorant to realize it; they know nothing about muggle science and technology and are so open to being blindsided by an attack using those that it's not even funny - and now they've given an expert in one of the most powerful developing technologies every reason to turn that technology against them. I wonder what combining Harry & Hermione's knowledge of spells from the the Avalon books with Luna's understanding of science and technology could do for a number of areas? The use illustrated in the first story is obviously not the only one by a long shot (if you could figure out a way for nanos to handle wards, you'd have a good start at a way for folks to survive some very inhospitable environments and that opens up a ton of possibilities).
Given Blaise's background, I suspect the Ministry is going to regret what it did to him, not that they'll realize 'til too late just why.
I see where things are moving forward in time to Percy's wedding. -That- should be quite a story, esp. if Harry is seen there and they try to apprehend him (merry chase, anyone? though likely after a wild goose).
