It grabs you like the fist of an angry Norse god and doesn't let go until you've finished reading.

Although I haven't read your 'Sun* Over Britain' series yet, everything else that I've read of yours has been a hit, and this is certainly no exception. I actually had to double check to make sure I hadn't already reviewed this. It's actually good enough I'd review it again if I forgot I'd done it before. While there are other's that are worse, I'm generally the kind that's too lazy to actually leave a review. Sad, but true. This, however, is damn near guaranteed to get a review out of me 10 out of 10 times. Great job and then some. This wins hard.

A wonderful story. I liked the way you dealt with the situation with Dumbledore, justice with only a small side of vengeance.

I also love the ending, showing how they and their world had changed.

It was a great story until you decided to cut to the end. Just kidding. It was a great story all togeather, I just had hoped it was going to be more than a chapter.

Bravo! A most excellent fic. I absolutely **LOVE** that some measure of justice was leveled against Snape for his excesses and particularly Dumbledore for knowingly forcing Harry to grow up abused. I was appalled to learn in HBP that he was in fact well aware of Harry's living conditions but thought protecting his weapon against Voldemort was more important than Harry's quality of life.

"He has known nothing but neglect and often cruelty at your hands." (Dumbledore to the Dursleys, HBP 3)
...
"The magic I evoked fifteen years ago means that Harry has powerful protection while he can still call this house 'home.' However miserable he has been here, however unwelcome, however badly treated, you have at least, grudgingly, allowed him houseroom. This magic will cease to operate the moment that Harry turns seventeen; in other words, at the moment he becomes a man. I ask only this: that you allow Harry to return, once more, to this house, before his seventeenth birthday, which will ensure that the protection continues until that time." (Dumbledore to the Dursleys, HBP 3)

That fully confirmed my suspicion and forever branded Dumbledore as a contemptible villain in my eyes. I find it absolutely disgusting and utterly reprehensible that the Leader of the Light causes such harm to innocent children. There is NO justification for forcing a child to live in an abusive home. NONE. Especially when Dumbledore could most certainly have curbed the Dursley's behavior through threat or magic but yet he did not. He put an innocent one year old baby into an abusive home and did nothing to stop that abuse. I honestly believe that he knowingly did it so that Harry would be easy for him to manipulate and control. Unfortunately canon Harry is shown to not be a hero but rather little more than a puppy eagerly following after his master - blindly doing whatever Dumbledore wants of him.

Potter's Revenge was wonderful. It make me smile and giggle as Harry's plan came into being.

Nice one-shot. As usual, you get more content, story line and characterization into a one-shot than many authors can cram into a 20 chapter story. and, as always, anything that gets Bumblemore, Snape and the Weasel their just desserts is always enjoyed. Thanks for a nice read!

great story not as great as the SOB STORIES but still wonderful. that's probably becasue it's a one shot (humungous one shot)so it's not really detatiled. anyway, you guys are great. keep up the great work. can't wait to read more of your stuff.

Good story, decent ending. Not exactly sure about the whole goblins & house elves @ Hogwarts thing. Seems too foreign to me. Anyway, so yea, I can't wait to see what you put up next!

Hmm... not bad. Suggestions on a good English/Latin and back translator website? I went through about 5 or 6 google search pages before finding a good free one and it barely helped me.

Thanks
