I have never reviewed anything... which I guess makes me a terrible reader who takes advantage of your amazing talent. I very much appreciate the time you spend on these stories, and my life is made much more enjoyable by them.

I have read lots of fanfiction, and none of it is a well written or thought out as yours. I intended to write and say that if Voldy was bugging you, drop a rock on him, have logan kill him or something. Poof he's dead, now you can get on with the fun stuff. Of course, you being the writer that you are, that would not satisfy you. This is my favorite of any of your stories so far, which is surprising considering how jaded I have become with fanfiction in general. I enjoy reading this, and do so with as much wide eyed amazement, as I did the very first fanfiction I read (your Dumbledore's Army).

Whatever you decide to do, I just wanted to thank you for writing as you have up till now. I would gladly pay you to finish this story, and, while I'm not rich, I could probably make it somewhat worth your while.

I hope you still find writing as enjoyable as you did many years ago when you started, and don't view it as a chore to assuage some reader's voracious appetite.

I have blathered long enough. Good luck to you, in any endevour you choose to pursue.

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am about you leaving most of the Voldemort topic behind. I love your writing, including the stories that have Voldemort in them, but I agree that writing with Voldemort in it is getting old. I look forward to seeing where this story goes.

Sporadic updates?! I'm okay with that as long as it doesn't mean an update every year or so. I'd really like to see more of this story, especially if you're taking it in never-before-seen directions. That always keeps a story interesting. Maybe instead of struggling to come up with a way to off Voldemort you could have Harry working at attempting to change the prejudices in the wizarding world. If you really wanted to shock people you should have him fail. Anyway, it's a brilliant story; just the right mix of X men and Harry Potter, which I think you've achieved by limiting, quite severly, the X men characters. Bravo!

As always I enjoyed your story.

In response to your special note. I could care less if have Voldemort fall down and kill himself off screen. I've never read fanfiction for how Harry deals with the dark tosser, it's always been for the interpersonal relationships and how Harry deals with life.

Not that you need any input or permission from the peanut gallery.

I lurk on your site and hope the personal family issues you and your wife have been dealing with have been favorable settled and that any delay in further posting is because you've found other fun things to occupy your time with. I'll be disappointed, but I rather be bored and missing your writing then you not writing because of serious issues with those you love and care for.

The only thing I wonder after reading this chapter is, are the kids really just lost?

I just had the most amusing thought...

Since the British Wizarding World is so bigoted towards Harry and Harry has his wonderful ability to teleport things to him, the next time Voldy makes an appearance or should Snape get out of line...just have Harry teleport their heart into his hand. It should be ever so effective in putting the fear of god into those lesser beings!

I have to say I'm really enjoying this story. I didn't really expect to, not because of the 'Ship, even though I'm not a big fan of Harry/Ginny, but because of the X-Men crossover. I used to be a massive Marvel fan, but got burned out on Mutants back in the 90's. Anyway, you've done an excellent job of introducing the X-characters so that you don't have to know everything about them to enjoy the story.

I can empathize with your problem of offing Voldemort, so you could probably go the route that Harry vanquished him in 1981, and anybody else can take him out now. Hell, let him slip in the bathtub and drown if you want to!

Anyway, it's your story and I'm along for the ride.

I'm excited to see where you take this story, if the thing that drives it isn't the defeat of Voldemort. I get what you mean about having enough of that -- how many ways can you get rid of one wizard, anyway?

... Er. My point is, I like the combo of X-Men and Harry Potter, and it's fun watching the HP characters scramble to adapt to a Harry that's so far beyond their understanding. Thanks for writing, and I look forward to reading more.

Haha, no we can't. But maybe Magneto and the Brotherhood will be involved- maybe Mystique, in a Harry!form, kills old Voldy!

Hi,

I am really enjoying this story and this chapter had some interesting insights for some of the characters. But it was the AN that made me think the most.

In many ways, Voldemort is an afterthought in this story; it mostly focuses on Harry, his new circumstances, and the way the wizarding world reacts to him. How would magical Britain react to a ‘Dark Creature’ that at 16 years-old kills the biggest Dark Lord in recent history? Not well with Fudge and Umbridge in charge I’m betting.

I think the post-Voldie part of the story would be a good read. Especially from the two of you.

It seems to me, upon second reading, that Snape would be freaking out the most about Jean resembling Lily. You may have covered this is a previous note, ignoring book seven. If so, I apologize. But shouldn't Snivellus be smitten or at least in lust?

I'll admit I'm nervous responding to you and Alyx. I enjoy your disclaimers and author's notes nearly as much as your stories. Your threats of retribution for poorly written reviews have kept me mute and quaking so far. So with shaking digits...I'll continue to type. You are so clever with your opening mayhem that I find your claim of not having a unique solution to "off" Voldie a challenge. Adding the muggle technology to Harry's world presents some intriguing new possibilities. Nuclear enema, Mach 2 - solar flared trajectory destruction of Horcruxes would be fun. I can't wait to see what you really come up with. What I really want to say though is thank you both for such fabulous and fun reads. My thanks is long overdue and I will be ducking now as I feel the swift wind of the FPIA (Can I get one at Walmart?) blows in my direction.

It is so awesome to see you updating this story again! I don't blame you for being tired of dealing with Voldemort. I don't care if you just find some way to off him, like Jean gets so mad after he holds Harry prisoner or spits in Harry's face, whatever, that she vaporizes him like in the movie. I'm more interested in seeing Harry heal and make a new life with Jean and Scott. BTW what is Scott doing while Jean is at school and how often do they see each other? Just curious. This chapter was brilliant. For only having covered about a week you've moved things along nicely. I can't wait to see the next installment.

It is a good story and will be interested in the directions you take it. Will you be introducing evil mutants as well? Or have Voldemort team up with evil mutants?
