No Alyx, don't kill Bob! If he dies there'll be no more chapters! How is that for the greater good? Maybe you could just hurt him a lot.

Really cool chapter. I like that all the muggle gadgets work in Hogwarts and I see your point about Voldemort, I bet you get tired of killing him. Maybe Harry could crash into his headquarters with his jet and then you can just have a normal story about magic and mutants. Whatever you write I'm sure I'll love it 'cos you guys rock!

I don't know if this is one of my favorite chapters, I'd have to reread the whole thing, which is just going to be such a hardship for me. ;)

I don't think you have to come up with new and interesting ways to kill Moldyshorts because there are only so many ways to kill somebody. I think what interests me about this story is Harry's growth as a person and how others react to his growth.

Great chapter well worth the wait! Jean raised good points both in her class and with Albus, Minerva, and Vector. As long as the Hufflepuff wasn't in any danger of either grave physical harm or death Harry since he's NOT a prefect or member of Hufflepuff house had no real obligation to interfer, though he COULD have told Vector about it instead of just going his way. If you find writing Voldermort death scenes such a bore I suggest killing him off ASAP and spending the rest of the story telling how Harry lives his life from then on.

Have you thought of just concentrating on Harry, the X-men, Hogwarts and Ministry?. Let Voldie be a minor thing in this story. I like whats developing between Harry, Jean(and all other mutants). The Wizarding world and else. Concentrate on those. Great story Hope all is well with you and Alyx. Love your disclaimer. Here's a thought. Have Voldie do the disclaimer and have a X-men destroy him.

The best recommendation I can give you for a case of Voldemort burnout, is kill the bugger off and then deal with the real issues.

In the case of this story, the real issues are the eventual doom of the wizarding world due to their unreasonable belief that they are superior to the majority of the planet's population, especially when that majority could wipe them out with a few well placed weapons. With the attitude of the much of humanity towards mutants in the Xmen, if the unempowered found out that not only are there freaky mutants among them, but also a group of mutants that have existed for millenia that can kill with two words and erase peoples memories, the next muggle / wizard war could be very, very short.

Of course, you're writing this, so you've probably though of this idea already. I will just leave you to it, and hope for another great chapter. Keep up the good work, and don't worry about the shorts. Every pro writer needs their pallet cleansers.

Yeah! More chappies in the most excelent story! It's nice to see Harry finally back at Hogwarts and starting to reconnect with Hermione (and likely Ginny, since you've stated this is a H/G fic).

However, it's saddening to hear that updates will be sporadic. I do understand the whole "lets see how we kill Voldie this time" problem, however. Personally, I'd be just as happy to have Harry take care of the dork lord sooner rather than later, and then have fun ensue with him, the Xmen, and Ginny (and mebbe Hermione or Luna) in the larger Marvel universe.

Anyway, have fun (Mutant) Storming the castle!

This IS your story. I am just gratful that you share your tremendous skill and imagination with us, your readers.
Why not make offing Voldy a one or two chapter aside and carry on with the mutant issues and Harry's decisions. Tom is not the be all, end all of the Wizarding world.

Man, this is a really well thought out story.... I have read quite a few stories in the last few years (last I checked, my Delicious bookmarks of fanfics hit nearly 650 fully completed ones and my story alerts are somewhere around 500 - all uncompleted). I'm continuously impressed with the level of detail incorporated in the story. Also, there are so few Xmen/HP crossovers that are nonslash that are worth reading. I'm sure the slashy ones are good, but slash makes my stomach turn, so I don't read it. I really hope you continue this story in the direction it is going. I'm really interested in how it goes. Although, I would like to see Harry having some knowhow on programming computers and stuff. He likes mathy things? Why not give him skills in computer programming? It would show the wizards how truly dire the situation is, and I think the Harry persona you are developing would like having those skills too.

I'm sorry to read that you've lost some interest in this story. For me it's the best cross over that I've read. I understand your issues with Voldemort, I feel the same, having read almost every way possible of getting rid of him. Expect jelly donuts, and I'm sure that's out there somewhere.

This story is so much more about the relationships between the wizard world, and the mutant world, ok toss in us muggles too. Hopefully your muse won't run away completely.

By the way fantasic chapter, for the reason stated above. :) Looking forward to the next chapter.

On a more serious note, while I regret your waning interest in this story, I completely understand. You've already killed the arse a few times, I can only imagine how much of a bother he has become.

I'm half expecting you to make him break his neck while falling own the stairs and have Harry take on Wizarding Britain to bring it out of its archaic mindset.

Either way, I'll keep checking for updates, hoping that you have graced us with another chapter, no matter what story it will be for.

Thank God! I am so sick of fan fiction revolving around vVldemort all of the time. Wizards Fall and the Marriage Law fics are exactly the thing that the Harry Potter fan-base should be reading in this post DH Era, rather than begging for new Voldemort-death-centered fics to make up for the crap that Rowling shoved down our throats for the last two books. Good Show, Keep writing the bunnies, and deal with the rest when you feel like it!

As for the Voldemort issue I can agree, I always wanted to see a story that treated Voldemort as I always saw him, as mealy a Symptom of a Disease where the Disease that Harry Really needs to defeat, is the current wizarding world attitudes. To many stories end with Voldemort dieing and the wizarding world going back to business as normal, with all there corrupt and prejudice ways staying the same, so your special note now has me even more interested in this story. PPMS!

whatever the schedule, whatever the topic,I have not as yet,in 5 years of reading your works multiple times, NOT been enriched, entertained, instructed and amused. With that track record, whether you are squishing Voldemort into gooey black paste, or writing historical romance novels with magic twists, or scholarly treatises on the methods and incantations necessary to include a portion of the soul, no horcrux jokes please, into a portrait - I will read them.

Now... take the time to trust yourself as well as listen to the people who enjoy your stories: not caring about Tom anymore? Have him become a minion of an X-Men villian. I always liked Apocolypse... you know, an actual immortal badguy.

Hmmm.... Running out of ways to kill Voldemrot... You could always have them prepare for the 'final battle' and then have him trip over something and have his head bashed in.... Great chapter. It just came to me after reading your notes. Why not have Voldemort and harry do a unlikely alliance (unwanted but necessary) against say an enemy of the xmen or some other foe. Some one who's goal is the extinction of the Wizarding world, the muggles or the mutants. Just a thought, since you're tired with old Voldy.

All I have to say is that I love the story, especially the direction it took with this chapter. I'd say ignore Voldie, but you're right, it's not post Voldie, and that's too big a plot hole to ignore. But why must the focus be on him? I like the interaction between the people and seeing how Muggle & Wizard tech will combine. That's what I'm interested in seeing more of, I don't really give a crap how Voldie is dealt with. He's there, he's a necessary evil for you to stay with your story line, but can't he just be the footnote you've made him so far?
