900% devaluation? I may be a liberal arts graduate, but while you can have 900% inflation, I don't believe that you can have 900% devaluation - once you reach 100% devaluation the currency is worthless (or, more accurately, worth only what the paper it's printed on is worth, as the currency itself has no buying power).

As you can burn paper, it always has at least scrap value (say $20 per ton, suitable for burning as fuel for a boiler or generator - the local utility has such a generator - they burn trash that would otherwise go into a landfill - the greenies have very mixed feelings about that one!)

ah, once again, the tired old use of Dumbledore as an egomaniacal control freak, as well as some of the less common wooly suppositions. Other than that, a lot of this was pretty good and pretty original, so i give a 3.5 out of 5 stars

oh i love what you did at the end. goblins and house elves as students. masterfully done. and it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case in jk's universe that most of the more wealthy families had loans trying to fund the war for snake face.again masterfully done.

Even with Dumbledork getting the axe in HBP, I still see him as a manipulative old bastard and I just love Powerful!Harry and Dumbledork and Snape bashing. I also, regardless of JKR & HBP, like HPHrG pairing. (I also like to see unconventional pairings as well for a change of pace.) Anyway what all this is leading to is that I was thoroughly entranced by your story and enjoyed it immensely. (There were a couple of editing errors (quite unusual for you)). Take good care of yourselves and keep up the great work.

A most excellent story, I liked the premise, that Harry was finally pissed and gave it to everyone who sucked ass. Except that this story wasn't as dark as some other stories are. It wasn't overly angsty and had a nice fluffy romance.

I love you guys' stories, they're always fun to read and well written. Keep it up!

A great story with a little bit of everything for the discerning reader.

Great story, I really enjoy the 'Harry vs manipulative Dumbly' stories, and this was a fun one.

Nice enough, but it seemed a bit "write-by-number" to me. You seemed to hit most of the cliches, but an entertaining read anyway. I still don't really see the point.
This is just my opinion, sorry if it offends anyone to the point of mayhem.

Nice story, I only wish that JKR could come up with something that will make me feel as good inside when she's finished with book 7 as this story has.

Thanks for another great story.

In short: Worth every word. Esp. the explanation about the Dursley's and the behavior charms. Good idea. Thanks.

Thanks for this...and points to Bob, no testicles or sape-bits were harmed in the making of this story..a new personal worst, no best..

An interesting independent!Harry story with the quality of plotting, characterisation and presentation that I have come to expect from Bob and Alyx.

I loved Harry's comment about "neutering" Dumbledore's "pet dog" and his Darth Vader impression. Wasted on wizards, of course, who never saw Star Wars .

The whole story was compelling and kept you reading. Although it used many of the independent!Harry clichés, it did so in a way that was interesting and more than acceptable. Harry as a grey/dark force of justice is a concept that I've seen used many times and it was used well here. I particularly liked the degree that Harry used his Slytherin side to deal with his enemies rather than take them down by brute force.

I have only one question: What happened to Ron? Did he get his head out of his butt or did he end up bitter and alone?
