Long time reader, first time reviewer.
I have mixed feelings about this epic finally coming to an end. You surely have done a greater job than we could ever hope for from JKR. Is Sunset and Sunrise now longer than all 5 canon books? There are only a couple fanfics that I have ever followed and few were consistently as reliable as the Sunset/Sunrise series- in terms of both quality and regular updates. I don't know what I'll read without a new installment every few weeks. Hopefully, Full Pensieve will step up and start writing some more. But, it's been a great ride and Congratulations to you both on an amazing accomplishment!! I know that you are planning two post-Vol chapters, which I will look forward to, but it's really been smashing fun to read for the past couple years.

This has been an exciting read and I have been enjoying it every minute. The hard part has been waiting for the next chapter. I can't wait to start reading this to my son. (Watching the language at some parts) I have told him a little of this and told him we will wait until the original series ends before I introduce him to the Fan Fic. Thanks again, patently waiting for more.

Great to see you have updated again. The preparations have taken so long, I was a bit surprised to see it all done in this chapter. But I'm pleased with how successful the attack was. I was always a fan of crushing victories. :)
I also liked the way Harry took care of Voldemort. Snake Lips' mistake was that he tried to make Harry suffer instead of trying to incapacitate and kill Harry.
Why did Voldemort use an antiquated version of the Cruciatus? Was it just a bad judgment call in the heat of battle, with old Snake Lips just casting whatever came to mind first, or was Harry immune to the 'real' cruciatus?
Looking forward to the aftermath and epilogue.

Fabulous chapter! Loved the way you killed off Voldemort. That was really enjoyable. Definately best chapter to date.

Wow! This was a hell of a ride. That was definitely an excellent battle sequence... I love that Harry is in a state of shock over Voldemort's death... great emotional realism.
Thanks!

That was fun. Well done. The disclaimers seemed a bit forced from time to time but, like The Rocky Horror Show, they grow on one.

Do you two think that JKR could possibly pull something off like what you two just did? I could only wish. Unfortunately I fear we are going to be sadly disappointed by book 7 (using book six as a reference). I feel very sad talking to my seven year old twins, who have watched Harry Potter since they were three, getting them prepared for the fact that there little Hero is going to snuff it. I guess I'll never understand British writers and their need kill off the characters they create, especially ones that our younger generation embraces. Once my kids learn to embrace reading more on their own I hope to introduce them to authors like yourself that offer alternatives to "walking through a vail and vanishing forever taking the last Horcrux with him, his scar." Granted, they will need to mature quite a bit first but I just like the fact that there are some people out there that can do a better job at telling a story than that of the originator. Thanks for an awesome ride!

great chapter. The end of Voldemort was a bit anticlimatic in the grand scheme of your entire story (sunset + sunrise i consider them 1)...
Cant wait to see the wrap up and more importantly whatever new project you take up in the post-sunrise world. You do at least think you will undertake a new project right??????
Good job guys

excellent chapter! hope everything with bob is going well, and good luck finishing off the greatest fanfiction story (I mean the series) ever written. It has been a blast and you guys should be praised for your amazing stories.
P.S. How many reviews did you recieve for Sunset? And how many so far for Sunrise?

Brilliant, Excellent, Wonderful utterly speechless as to how well writen this story has been. That had to be one of the best planned defeats of LV admittedly this chapter alone is longer than some stories are in their total lenght!
And the award for outstanding author goes to ...... Alyx (sorry Bob even I know who wears the trousers (pants) in your relationship!)

What a final battle, I hope everybody comes out ok. Ginny had some very ugly injuries. The was were similar to the walls that Harry created in HPSC. Thanks for writing.

Excellent battle. Good job!
Glad none of Harry's friends were killed. Or at least yet. We don't know about Ginny yet, do we?
What can I say? I'm emotionally exhausted from your story.

Wow, that was a looong chapter. Not that I'm complaining, I enjoy a good read.
Only real thing that made me stop and wonder 'why did they do that?' was when I saw you mention King Charles III. When you called him that did you know that he'll be called as King George (Charles made the decision with royal advisers a few years back because of the what happened to the two previous kings to be named Charles).
Not a complaint, just a useless fact

Good scene with the nervous Amos Madison. Gives the situation a
bit of a human feel to look at it from one individual's PoV.
Those illusion generators are clever.
> Later, one female corporal would be teased greatly about her
cry of not being bad, just being drawn that way.
*snerk* Is her name Jessica?
> "You have done well, but you want to do better. You will take
it upon yourself to awaken the Master and give him this news."
*snicker* There's one less DE to worry about.
> It was hard to be friendly with an eight legged bug the size of St. Bernard.
Ah, we see Madison again. And in very unusual circumstances . . .
> If Sergeant James wanted a foot, he'd give him two.
*nod* Nice touch.
Very nice fight scene. I "saw" everything that you were trying to describe.
Enjoyable chapter. Very much looking forward to the next.

Wow, not a lot, and yet a whole lot to say. Just that this was one of the most incredible action and human pieces of material that I've read in awhile. Will be looking forward to what this means to the Circle, Britain and the World.

wow that was intense. Once again I'll say this story rates as one of the best in the Harry Potter fanfic realm.
Thanks to the both of you for gifting us with your work.

oohhhhhHHHHHHHHHH
I was sitting on the edge of my seat for the entire chapter, and then suddenly it ended! Oh, what shall I do? I hope you update soon.
This was a very good "Final Battle" kind of thing. Lord knows I've read more than my fair share of HP fanfics, and you've got a nice balance to it. So many stories have the forces of good being unnaturally prepared for anything V might throw their way.
Also, I feel bad for saying this, but way to go for horrifically injuring one of your main characters. It is unrealistic for none of them to be really hurt. Though I feel really bad for Ginny.
