Amazing story i love it! This story showed more of the "true" war. In many of the fanfics I've read nothing major is destroyed or harmed and in a real war they would be. Anyway off to read the sequel can't wait!

amazingly well written. I have always favored the idea that Dumbledore was evil, or at least someone who had forgotten the importance of free will when it came to a single subject, and the way you portrayed him was impressive. However, I only found a few contradictions within your story during my reading that slightly confused me... the main one concerning Fawkes. First off, if he dumbledore was betraying harry from the beginning, then why did Fawkes stay with him? In order for Fawkes to stay with Dumbledore (from my limited understanding of the phoenix) Dumbledore would have to be devoted to the light. However, I assume that could be explained as Dumble's fall from the light to the dark, and the change from simply manipulative to pure evil.

Other than that small question, I really enjoyed reading this story and I'm about to start in on your sequel. Good job, and if you ever decide to start writing your own original story, please leave a note when it is published so that I may purchase it for my own pleasure. Good luck!

wow, what a read and what a story. I thoroughly enjoyed the two solid days it took me to read this.

How you managed to include Draco/Luna as a side pairing and not make me run screaming is still shocking me slightly and i can only surmise that it must be a testament to how great the story is. You managed to write a superpower harry as well which reads believably and logically, a feat i don't think i have ever experienced before.

Loved the slogans on the t-shirts and how the brotherhood was founded based on Dumbledore making a mountain out of a molehill very funny.

And for once i can say i enjoyed the authors notes, the pet peeves were particularly comforting, glad i'm not the only one who finds spending two chapters clothes shopping for harry annoying.

I don't know if you still actively write Harry Potter fanfiction anymore but good luck in all your future writing ventures regardless. If they turn out even half as good as this i'm sure it will be well worth the read.

reason I came looking for this story was because I came across another story at fan.fic. The first chapter i read was very interesting, however when I looked at the reviews it told me this story was already written. So I came a hunting for the original, and I am glad I did what a brilliant story enjoyed it very much that I got a little bit miffed when I had to go to work or bed. Now all i have to say is thank you for sharing your creative side with me and many more.

Don't know if you are aware, but AustinHP91 has posted chapter 1 on fanfic.net under the name "Britain's Darkest Hour". Its been reported numerous times but still remains on the site.

Well I would first of all like to say thank you for a remarkable story; despite it being almost 3years since its completion, it is new to me.
I came by way of E-mails from yourselves and several other interested parties after reading the first chapter of a story on FF.net that despite its title, is a complete plagiary of your story - actually apart from the title it is a complete copy.
As I say at the time I was unaware of the true origin of your story and left a very positive review (Lectorsum). As I have now read the story in its entirety, it would probably serve no point in repeating that review as it referred to my expectations for the story's progression.
I find it completely unacceptable that the website doesn't check the provenance of a story before accepting it for publication; OK I suppose with so much input the webmaster(s) must rely on an author's integrity, but surely there must be some safeguard for the protection of plagiarised authors.
That said, I must offer my somewhat belated congratulations in the production and invention of such a widely ranging story and as I said on FF.net, it is truly Machiavellian.
It is an indication of the depth of your story telling ability and plot-weaving.I shall without doubt read the sequel and as many of your stories both completed and in progress as your web-site allows.

As I have Latin pen-names I will sign off with my usual salutation

Tibi grates ago fabellae mirae, et probe. Bona fortuna Cliviussum

Arc one was great!

If your bored, I found a Super power Harry book,
Very long, Not yet finished but is close to it. Its called Harry Potter and the 5th element. Very good read. I also found it very very dark and a bit romantically frustrating but in a good way.

I loved the story. I agree with your idea of a super Harry as him not being blessed with all the super heroes powers. I look forward to reading the Sunrise over Britain next.

WOW! Bleeding wonderful! I've ready Sunset in only three days (which is actually less time than HBP too, though HPatDH was 8 hours, but I was sick and in bed, so I don't count it. I'm going to start Sunrise soon, but for now, sleep calls, and I'm hope I can get upstairs without falling out. Again, WONDERFUL! And, BTW, what ever happened to Molly?

Hmmm.... so far (and this is terribly sad, in the 'where did I go wrong with her' kind of way) I have only read up to Plans Revealed. BUT I have a perfectly good reason.
I love your Pet Peeves section. Most are very true, and a couple apply to me. (*looks innocent* Me? Not updating? Never!)
So I skipped a chapter ahead to read the peeves, and it became like an addiction. Pokies for Fanfic writers. Before I know it, I'm at the end of the story, and theres no more peeves!
Although I would like to give you one. When you beta for someone, then go and read their chapter, and it's full of mistakes that you got rid of.
I'm going back, to read the fic, but I think you should quit your day jobs, and become a married duo of Jeremy Clarkson.
Oh, and the fic is wonderful, by the way. Not too super-powered, because I can't stand that, and not too 'Harry hates the World'. The H/Hr pairing (which usually makes me cringe) is beautifully written, and your talent is like that of pro authors.
So in awe am I of your Peeves & chapters so far, I will sell my sister, and her dog and his kennel, for you to come to Australia (QLD, the Sunshine State!!!) and teach me how to write. Alternatively, you could sell me your souls...

Before my review gets long enough to become a peeve, thankyou, for providing me with three afternoons of entertainment.

Schoolwork caught up with me and I haven't had much time to read, but now I've finally completed this amazing story. It's so...lifelike. You gave Harry an injury. You taught me more about the United Kingdom and international military regimes than I've ever known. Now excuse me while I go read the sequel!!!

Bravo! I really enjoyed this story a great deal. It has an authentic epic feel to it that usually does not come in fanfiction. I'm looking forward to the sequel, which I'm going to start right now.
