Hi Guys, After reading DA and the sequelyesterday and this morning, I thought I'd give this a one a try. Boy do you guys have a hardon for Dumbldore in this one or what?

I wont preach about being out of character and I knowingly started it after being made aware that's its massivly AU.

Great start and thanks for the other stories as well... I'll leave feedback as I go.

"A surprising number of books" which actually wouldn't be surprising for Hermione...or for that matter me. :)
If Ron ever came up to Hermione with the line "let's say get to know each other better" she would punch him.
Was there never a talk given about maturas? You could think you were dying.
Crabbe & Goyle probably had a 10 minute matura.

What a great and interesting chapter... the low down no good Weasleys, the only good ones are the twins and Ginny by the sounds of it. And Dumbledore the ass, I hope he barns in hell.

So Hermione learns a few home truths about the Weasleys and Dumbledore, also about Harry.

So Amelia is looking into what Dumbledore been up to, and about Harry's past. And that someone is using Harry's money.

Oh boy, one piss of Tonks, not good.

So Hermione has got feelings for Harry.

Moony should know that with Harry, nothing is impossible.

I've just started reading your story and I only joined this site, to begin with anyways, because of your story. I don't know how the review system works or even if your still writin but I want to tell you how much I enjoyed the first chapter.

I think that you've got a really great handle on the story and I'm glad you didn't make it 'suddenly for no reason at all, after Sirius dies Harry starts getting horribly abused' type things. I've never seen where Wizards have a magical maturation during their *tenth* year, only their sixteen or seventheen and I thinks it a really great idea.

I'm glad you haven't-yet-made Fudge a bumbling idiot. I mean I know if was the first pick of Ministers and he only got the job because Dumbledore turned it down but he has to be a pretty decend politican-either through brown nosing, blackmail, sheer brains etc.-to be in a postion to even be *considered* the Minister.

I like the Bones in this story. Most people either don't have them or have Amelia as this...well not a good person and it's annoying. I mean she's smart in the cannon and she is said, by Arthur Weasley, to be a fair just person.

I couldn't find anything I really didn't like about this chapter. You didn't move things too slow, nor did you take things so fast it would be completely unbelieviable.

This is great! I enjoy the fics that blast cannon straight to Hell and back - that is, as long as it's written well, as this is. And to think, this is just the first chapter!

I thought you did a great job setting up for a Harry/Hermione story. I loved the little bit about Dan Granger serving in the Navy and the bit of history you gave on the Matura Magicus. Ginny chewing out the Twins was great!! And Ron! ugh! What a jerk.
