Bloody marvelous! I really hope you post other stories in this AU. :)

What a unique idea! Brilliant writing, of course, but you already knew that. Revenge is best served cold and it was the perfect punishment for the wizarding world. Understated and yet extremely harsh.
I must say that I'd love to see a sequel or a several one-shots giving glimpses into the future for this. This is just too good a plot bunny to deny!

Wow, I can see how this could lead you to all sorts of places.
Loved the reference to Wonder Bread, especially from a guy who has to wear a hatall the time. How wonder bread canyou get?
So, how many people came to realize that their lives are still worth living and that their children are still beautiful? Charlie did, it seems, any others?

Wow! Absolutely wonderful. It fills all those little revenge fantasy plot bunnies that my own versions of HP characters keep trying to distract me with. More, more!

Really nice and while fiction as is all harry potter fics this is something I can actually 'see' happening! One obviously male question though, will harry end up with both Luna and Hermione? :)

nicely done; although I'm kind of surprised that Charlie didn't stick with the twins and Bill. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have planned for this world you've provided us.
have to admit; I'll probably be skipping the HP/Xmen cross; simply because I'm not a Mutant fan; got burned out too badly in the old Marvel Zombie days; plus; I have a deep seated aversion to Harry/Ginny.
I'll definately be looking out for your other stories though.

Welcome back! I know I don't review very often, (mostly because I don't often have much to say) but I've enjoyed every story you've written. And whether this or your XMen cross you've been talking about, after DA and Sun*, I expect we're once again in for one hell of a ride.

Ouch!! Led by Albus and the Ministry, the sheeple of the wizarding world have let their ignorance and arrogance bring disaster on them. I applaud Harry's approach, he followed the principle of non-initiation of violence perfectly, and when it was used against him, he responded with an adequate means of ensuring it would not happen again. 'Tis a pity that this took the wixarding world, as it was known, down, but they brought it on themselves.
Great story with both room for sequels and room for side stories.

Total WOW!!!
I am so very very happy to see you both again. This is a remarkable story and I love that fact that it not only stands alone proud and tall, but that it launches so many possiblities for future stories.
Congratulations!

Hey Bob, Alyx;
I enjoyed this ficlet a lot. Though at some point I thought Harry was actually going to save Snape. I don't know why, I just did.
When someone is the only reason you visit someplace can't alone be for revenge... maybe.
Anyways - I hope you continue on with this universe. Maybe you could write a quick ficlet of Harry re-opening Hogwarts. If it would be Harry, I don't know how long the "life extending properties" on the nanites really are. *grin* But I think that'd be a nice ficlet to read.
Until next time,
Lang

Very well put together story, I like the 'Children of Men' plot idea. This is absolutely a good base for AU stories, and hope someone takes it and runs with it.

A great story, certainly one worthy of sequels, though I'm not certain where you would fit them in.
I do think it's rather greedy of Hermione to deny Luna the fringe benefits that help make the arduous process of chid-bearing worth the effort. Child-rearing has its own rewards, child-bearing is something else altogether. I'm a bachelor, but even I can figure that much out!

A very good read, I can see lots of possibilities in the universe you have created. It will be very interesting to see the world in another decade. I am wondering if there will be any pockets of magic left in areas that have almost no outside contact, such as the mountains in Tibet or small islands in the Pacific. I am also wondering if when magic shows up in a muggle, it is due to a gene mutation, and therefore there might be many muggleborns with magic out there.
Again, it was an excellent story and I am excited for more.
