I quite frankly would LOVE to see you try and expand on this story. I still wanna see your X-men Xover but this is good too. Still in the end these are your stories and what you end up deciding will be the final vote per se, still I'd like to see you take a poll of the ppl who will read this and see what they think about it.

This is good. I would love to see it continue but there is little room to do so. Though if anyone could pull it off it would be you two.

Pureblood Wizarding very much exhibits the worse of English nobility extended into the 21st century and still very much in charge. For every Arthur Weasley we find far too many Scrmgeours, Percys, Umbridges, and a few of these Dumbledores.
A briliiant and entirely plausible scenario - very well executed and recorded here for us. I look forward to the sequels.
Cheers!

WOW. Once again you have created a master peice. I hope you will continue the story and show us what happens when the spell ends and magic renters the world.

Well that was interesting! I take it that you shamelessly stole the "nanites" from IROBOT... :D
Anyway it was well worth the read, and as far as other stories spawned by this, what could you do?
1) Story about life during the Avalon stage
2) Story about the rebuild of Wizarding world after Avalon is over.
3) What Hermione does to Healer Chang after that idea to give Harry more pleasure comes to her attention.
4) Story about the Wizarding world dying out.
5) Story with all the above contained in a Sunset/Sunrise like package.
Answers shall be rewarded with Dounuts, Starbucks gift cards (or maybe just a starbucks outlet in your home), and giant cookies covered in icing!

A fascinating story. It never ceases to amaze me how fast you churn this work out. Even with the two of you working together, having jobs and the like, I have to say it's phenomenal at the very least.
Snape is correct *shudder!* the revenge is brilliant. It seems to me that I read a story called 'All the Magic in the World' with a similar plot line. (I think it was Udderpd who wrote it.)
Here, instead of simply taking the magic away, you've used logical methods to prevent magic from rising. When Harry & Co. return, either they will find a world of peace, or one devastated by war. in either case, it will be a vastly different one. On a side note, if a dark lord were to rise now,he's have a field day for the next two hundred or so years. since there is no magical progeny, he or she would have no reason to hold in his or her ability. in effect, that dark lord/lady could run roughshod over the entire world. the secrecy statutes would have no effect as there would be no wizarding world in three hundred years anyway. (PLOT BUNNY!!!)
It's interesting that even with the time dilation effect Harry knows when Dumbledore dies (I did the math) Sort of like the theoretical telepathic twins in a relativistic vehicle. The phoenix isn't Fawkes, so can only one phoenix exist in the physical plane at a time? If so, wands with phoenix cores should be even more valuable than they are, given that Fawkes has been Dumbledore's familiar for some time (at least 100 years, at best guess) any other phoenix feathers should be at least that old.
As always, I eagerly await anything you write.

Again, Bob and Alyx, you have written a masterpiece. Not quite as long as Sunset/rise but still a great story in and of itself. I will say this I do hope that Harry reuses Hogwarts after the 1000 year stint. You all are still the two best authors I have ever read and I hope to read more of your stories times to come.

A slightly different slant on an old favourite. Interested that some characters you'd normally associate with the forces of light - like Charlie and Neville - seem to have accepted the wizarding world as it turned out. Not sure how much further you can take this - who would prove a worthy opponent for Harry now?

I hope that you make quiet a few spinoffs and sequals to this. It was just another one of ya'lls lovely works of art.

Holy crap!
That is one Godzilla of an apocalyptic plot bunny.
I'm curious where the second story will fit in, since you seem to have wrapped up almost all of the significant loose ends...

Great story. I, for one, would really enjoy reading more stories set in this universe. Keep up the great work!
