Loved it! I'm think I found a new acronym to use. I can just hear the voice of the self destruct announcer from Spaceball One counting down before detonation. Ah, what a perfect ending of a chapter.

Another great chapter!

All thats missing is some lime jello and a llama, but maybe that's just me. ;)

Hi, I have liked this fic right from the start but the last chapter and the current one are definitely my fvourites. I like Harry's characterisation in your fic; almost the same as in cannon, just a little bit more assertive, a little more cunning and a lot more attractive (lol). Kudos, way to go...

Pansy bails, but the DEs kidnap Jean. Huge (and fatal for them!) mistake. Harry rescues Jean, and leaves them a nice fuel-air-explosive device (with audible thirty-second countdown), compliments of Logan. In other events, Harry puts the rhinovirus (and a lot of other virii and bacteria) on the Endangered Species list - by marketing magical potions to muggles/Mundanes. Harry is proving that remaining ignorant not only is no longer an option, but can get you killed.

Bravo Logan and Harry! It's all in the loopholes!

It's been a loooong time since you updated, but then the size of the chapter is a good reason to make me forget about that.

Very nice touch at the end. made me think of the book ( not the dud movies) of Heinlans "Starship Trooper" with the 30 second grenade. Might have been nice to have a "thermobaric bomb" as well being used.

Great chapter. I guess we will have to wait for the next chapter to hear about the devastation that the X Men have delivered to the Death Eaters.

Wow! Things are really heating up. That GPS unit finally opened Hermione's eyes to the fact that the muggle govenments or at least America was fully aware that there are holes in their information. That would definitely indicate that some people or someone is not who they seem to be. Neville is a really good example of someone who has no idea how advanced the muggles of the world are. Of course the fact that the wizards in America already work withing the government means that the Americans appreciate tallent of that kind. I hope America will also learn to appreciate that the Mutants have a lot to offer to society as well. The wizards are really vulnerable to that kind of power and organization. The mutants at least are aware of how powerful the muggles are. Harry solution is genius. Making the Mutants and Wizards valuable to the rest of the people of Earth is a very good way of protecting themselves and showing the people all over the world that letting them live their lives as people is to everyones benefit. Voldemort sending for Pansy was quite a surprise. Her reaction was more of a surprise. I'm glad that Daphne and Tracy made her make an unbreakable vow. Dumbledore is an idiot. He has no idea what his little speech did to him. Threatening to expel anyone who harms a Slytherin after all Slytherins have done to students in all the other houses was identity suicide. Harry and Ginny's prank on Slytherin was excellent. Of course the girls were affected too but a school prank shouldn't be cause for wanting someone dead like the Slytherin boys that are alligned with Voldemort are probably thinking. I'm so glad that Minerva is teaaching any student that wants to learn occlumency. Her reply to Dumbledore was great. He needed to be stopped from interferring in that case. I'm so glad that Hermione stood up to Dumbledore and refused to go to his office with him. He has no right to use Legilemency on anyone. Especially a student that has worked so hard to obey the rules of the school and the laws of the land as Hermione has. Snape is an idiot and I am sure he will end up badly in this story. His hatred of Harry is only going to make more trouble for him than he can imagine. The fact that Harry is probably right and that Dumbledore knows what Draco is doing with the vanishing cabinet and is doing nothing is really stupid on Dumbledore's part. By not being concerned he is allowing a potential risk to everyone in the castle. He is supposed to be responsible for everyone's safety and he has repeatedly put the Slytherins well being above everyone else's by protecting the non death eaters from the students who are death eaters. Hermione got a zing in at Dumbledore about how he protected Harry by sending him to an abusive household for 10 years and then continued to send him back every summer until Harry reached out in dispare for help just a few months ago. I think he just might be getting the idea that putting Harry with the Durseleys was a really bad idea on his part. It is scary how easily they captured Jean. They will have to be more protective of the people that are close to them. I think Harry and Logans' "talking bomb" will deffinitely send a message to the death eaters but will any of them survive to warn the ones who didn't hear that countdown? I guess we will find out when you post the next chapter. Thank you for writing such a great story. I appreciate all the thought and preparation you must do to write such an involved story. I have tried to write a short story but my mind just doesn't work that way. I really admire someone with your tallent. I will be happy to read anything you wish to write. Thanks again. PS I really love your disclaimers. They are a great introduction to each chapter. Thanks again. pms

Yay! I love how Logan is written. Another excellent chapter. Will we be getting into more of the "war" part of the war soon now? :D

"I am an exothermic reaction device!"
Funny! Though (since I did notice it,) it is AN exothermic reaction device and not A exothermic reaction device ... yes I know that it is a minor mistake and that I am being rather pedantic, and really cannot expect perfection from you or any other human ... but hey its FUN!
Nice chapter anyway ... for a moment there I thought that it was Snape who had managed to kidnap her ... after all he did resent her ... and he also wanted to desperately rifle through her mind ... though I initially thought that his er, love (or as I like to think of it his creepy obsessive slightly disturbing stalker like infatuation) with Lily would have transferred to her twin ...
I really liked your idea about getting the muggles to accept the magical people and the mutants ... reminds me of this fic partially kissed hero I read on ff.net, though the author has a tendency to ramble a bit here, some of his ideas were pretty interesting ... one of those was how Harry and co buy muggle stuff by using conjured money ... that would be an interesting and a really new way of taking over the muggle world ... buy several shares using fake ids and conjured money and eventually end up economically holding the country by the balls! Not to mention how much of a hit the value of the country's currency would take! Alternatively, one could also go and vanish all the money in bank vaults too! The mayhem it would cause would be brilliant!
By the way, I just remembered this bit ... when Harry was fighting Bella and Lucius, he was hit by an AK which passed through him but had an effect on him ... so is this effect a result of the soul fragment of Voldemort's dying in his scar? Or is he not a Horcrux here? Whatever it is, I hope that he still retains his ability to speak to snakes! It would be too cool to loose that!
Oh, and when you mentioned Harry getting his X-suit, I was slightly apprehensive since I had the marvel comic costumes in mind ... while colourful, some of them were slightly gay ... its a good thing that you are using the movie version ... I really prefer Hugh Jackman as Wolverine ... its almost as if the creator of that character had a six year old Hugh Jackman's future adult face in mind when he drew his face!

anyway, do update soon!

I'm glad that Xavier is being forced to confront the fact that by pushing Harry back to Hogwarts, he has also committed the X-Men to helping in the wizarding war.

Bob is the greatest man ever! I have made Candybar Brownies to honor his dedication to Mutant Storm and overactive imagination! Sorry Alyx, but I love Bob!!!

Thanks for the update! I love how Ginny and Harry are growing as a couple, but are not really realizing it. A revolution sounds right up Harry's ally and I can only imagine the US government is going to be supporting him while laughing their asses off and giving Britin the finger. LOL

Thanks again for the update! I'll think of you with every bite I take!

My, that was a comparatively restrained response. I think I'd have used "an exceedingly rapid deflagrating box" as the term for that little aide memoire but that's more a function of my background than anything else (there's darn little to choose from between an exceedingly rapid deflagration and an explosion but they are distinct terms. It sounds like Pansy at least got somewhere safe, even if it'll be on the boring side. I found the fact that non-magical recconaisance and imaging satellites could image wizarding buildings and facilities to be of interest and I rather wonder what a modern multi-spectral sensor suite would do, even if operated 'close in' from an air vehicle.

I rather liked the approach Harry's taking to bringing mutants and wizards "out of the cold" and integrating them into the overall economy; he's finding an unexploited niche and leveraging it quite nicely. It'll be rather interesting to see how Neville handles more exposure to the non-magical world; I suspect he'll get plenty if his interest in Hermione continues (and they do make a good couple). I'm certain Ginny is definitely going to learn lots more about non-magical life given her relationship with Harry (unless she does something extremely stupid, that looks to be a very long term relationship),

It looks like Albus' prejudices have done wonders to kill his prestige and effectiveness with the vast majority of the students, though I suspect he's not yet realized just how badly he's ompromised himself. Meanwhile, Severus is learning that serving two masters, as well as trying to serve himself, is a most difficult and draining effort; may it just grow worse for him.

I suspect there're going to be some surprises at such time as that vanishing cabinet is finished and the Deez try and attack through it. If Harry and his forces are ready, there's going to be a rather different correllation of forces than what they were advised to expect and *that* will likely ruin their day at a minimum.

Very good idea Harry has, there.

Yay for Harry the X-man. :-) Love the 'exothermic reaction device', too.

Good chapter, thanks for sharing it with us.
