Oh god.. that Bomb warning was Awesome!! And kind of hilarious too, 'I'm an exothermic reaction device!' Dumbledore really is intent on digging himself a grave. I look forward to the coming chapters.

Exothermic Reaction Device? I guess that just goes to show the value of a good education. Kinda reminds me of the scene in Starship Troopers when the MI are convincing the Skinnies to switch their support from the Bugs to the Federation.
"I'm a 30 second bomb, 29, 28, 27, 26..."
Nasty piece of PsyWar.

When you first started talking about this I thought you were stretching it a bit but this is working on so many levels...you two are really good!

Great chapter, I always love reading this, thank-you!!!
but about the exothermic reaction device... one thing that seemed missing from that conversation was ascertaining just how isolated this house might be!? I can NOT see them setting a bomb that would blow up adjoining buildings and injure potential innocents.
...art

This was a great part! Great idea with the economic theory, hope it works. And I like Logan and Harry's little talking surprise, some people are just better dead.
Loved seeing Hermione shut down Dumbles like that, he has truly lost it.

Man, Harry and Logan as a team is a recipe for explosions and death...are we sure those two are not related? :) Looks like Voldemort and DumbDumb have both gotten on the wrong side of the wrong person.

I wish I could scold you for presenting an unrealistic Dumbledore, but I can't. This Dumbles is not far from canon, and certainly in fairly character for this story. (well, except for the threat to expel students, even those who mistreated a Puree like Malfoy. I'm sure Dumbles would instead merely have them serve a few weeks detention with Snape)
As for Harry's plan for the cure for the common cold et al -- excellent. I hope the Muggle patent lawyers have a double check, not just Gringotts!

I love it!
I'm an exothermic reaction device!
I can't wait to see what Harry would do with a Howler. I can see it now. An owl drops off a package attached to a Howler. The package, however, is a pair of metal hemispheres, and he can't get to the Howler...So it explodes, and the metal turns out to be Uranium encased in a paper-thin sheet of lead that's torn apart by the Howler exploding...Right in Riddle's face.
Or something similar.
